Front Car......

I have 3 questions
1. when you wait in line for a ride say 7 mines do u have to sit in the next available car or can u wait for a front row car?
2. if you have a fast pass do you have to take the next available car or can you wait for the front sat car if it is even allowed?
3.if it is allowed to wait for a front car and there is 4 of us would it be allowed for 2 to seat in row 2 and 2 to sit in row 1. I am thinking that row 2 line would be a lot faster then row 1 would they let me have people go in front of us so we could all ride together.

Politely make a request to the cm. We've never been turned down yet. But you might have to wait for a couple of trains if others are already waiting or have made the same request.

And we've only ridden with fp.

The answer to all questions is the same.

You can always ASK and if the CM is accommodating, you can step aside and wait to ride in whichever car you'd like.

I have asked for front row at Soarin and front car at RnRC, they've never said no, but just keep in mind that they can - and I'm sure they do if the circumstances require it.
Many rides now have a special place for people who are waiting for front row to stand. And I can't imagine why they would care if you have just row one or row one and two....
The only time you may not request anything is if you are a single rider - although even then, if you politely ask not to be in the very last car they will usually accommodate you.

Because I have neck issues, I have always asked nicely to ride in the first car and never been denied yet! Hadn't been able to ride coasters in several years until the 7DSW ride, heard it was smooth, so have ridden it several times.

Also, as pp said, have been able to do the same at Soarin', just waited (sometime) for the next ride to get row 1. I don't usually ask this favor every time I ride though.

The gentle swaying of the cars in the turns really make for a smoother ride and finally one I can enjoy again! The 'first' car is the 'only' one I will ride in! Not our issue, but would think they could accommodate your party of 4 in same manner.

I usually request to ride in the last car of BTMR (yeah the one that makes you feel like you are gonna fly off the track, I'm crazy) and I've always been told yes. I've sometimes had to wait an extra round (though not often, it's not frequently requested I guess), but usually the CM just tells my whole group to go ahead and go all the way to the end (usually 3-4 of us) so it's never been an issue.

Just to clarify question #2
As far as fast pass goes you do not go from the fast pass line right onto a car at 7dMT or anywhere else-the fast pass and standby line join up together to form a short line before you get on rides-you bypass most of the standby line but you don't get front of the line access with fast pass you still have to wait a short amount of time

I used to work in attractions at WDW you just have to request what care you want & odds are they will say "yes" : )
