Happy Thanksgiving... just making a quick stop..I am back to the kitchen..pies and turkey are waiting for me!
I have walked around interlakan, Last times we took the train, this time it is a package and it is bus.Wengen had the world cup lasst time we went, it was COOL, air display in that blue sky and noise was amazing.
Len goes sledging, Its the only place except scotlnad Ive been, I sgould try other places I just cant!
Hope your feet are happy feet now,Greetings. DH and DBIL are out shopping here in CA. They traditionally go around looking for the freebies put out by stores--mostly ornaments. Use to be way better 15 years ago; they have had this tradition. When our boys were younger, they use to go for fun. Now they sleep late and have a turkey bowel with their old high school youth group. Fun to see them all stay connected and be friends.
I am off to pamper my poor aching feet with a pedicure. Taking along future DIL for some girl time.
I have all the Christmas boxes down from the garage and they are calling me.My oldest son's birthday is Monday and we are having a surprise bday party for him under the disguise of watching Amazing Race with a group of family friends.
I hope we can pull it off. I definitely don't feel like cooking so bet we get pizzas delivered. I can however make a cake because I can't look at another pie.
Happy weekend everyone.
Now I said that I was not going to vote but, I just want to do a little campaning. One of the other reasons I picked number 3 is dueto the fact it does not have that old DLR logo were Grizzly Peek looks like a rainsin.
Hello fellow cruisers. Just thought I would check in.
We had a great Thanksgiving, the whole family (18) at the dinner table together. Lots o' eating, lots o' football and lots o' fun.
Played the Wii (The new Super Mario Bros) game for hours... LOL... and if you heard screams for no apparent reason, that would have been us shouting for joy as we finally beat whatever bad guy we were going up against!!!!
DD and her family will still be here until Tuesday. We are planning on hitting Knotts Berry Farm amusement park on Monday for the Police/Fire special deal days thingy. DS and his family will be heading back to Arizona on Sunday.
It's all good out here. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday weekend!
Just stopped in to say hello..Christmas decorating is today! With our family celebrating Christmas tonight alittle early.. my sister can not join us this year for Christmas so since she is here for Thanksgiving..we will be celebrating both!
What part of Arizona is your family from? My sister heads back tomorrow to Chandler. Have fun at Knotts..we are going on Friday!
Whew! Thanksgiving at our house was great but alot of work. Now the Christmas tree is up, ironing is done and bags are packed. Can't wait to get on the Wonder tomorrow!
Have a wonderful time. Can't wait to hear all about your cruise.
The past two days have been so great with family and friends. I've decided to forego decorating for Christmas until Monday. However, the young adults will be doing gingerbread houses for fun tomorrow night. Three teams of three; the 'kids' have done this since there were in grade school. Cleanup is horrendous, but oh well; memories.
Has anyone noticed med prices in May 2010 have dropped and there are cat 12's available. What to do, what to do.We are booked on TA in September but the Med. cruises are looking better and better. I can probably handle an inside cabin since we'll hardly ever be on the ship except to sleep. Anyone with personal past experience care to give me some of their experiences. I've got a willing DH to do Europe. I have never been.
I'm all for trying new places - but before you decide on the Med for sure - look at the excursions and how much they'll cost - you may very well want to do an excursion in every port, since they'll all be 'new' to you, and that can add up fast. It would seem the Med cruises are more about "sightseeing" and less about "cruising" than the TAs.
