Good Morning and welcome to all our new cruisers!

Hope everyone has a good "work" week. I'll be getting ready for our trip to the World next week and decorating the house for fall.

I'm also doing some thinking of a group FE gift from us and any cruisers from around the globe who want to participate, but don't want to bring gifts with them. Anyone wanting to participate, please PM me.

I just had to post something with my new sig!

I love all of the graphics so far, but I must admit that it will be next to impossible to get my three older boys to wear any shirt with a castle or princess on it. My vote is probably for the last one with the map - I love it, I know my boys will wear it, plus it reinforces the geography for them - that's a big plus for me. Wish I was creative and more computer savvy. Thank you all for your efforts - they are all great!

I was thinking about the great graphics we have seen posted. I like them all and was thinking of the "UP" graphic. I think the image of the Wonder hanging from brightly colored balloons flying from Florida/WDW to California/DL would make a cool looking t-shirt. They are all good!!!

I also like... maybe a photo of Walt with a caption of him saying something like "California, Home to DCL! What Took So Long?"

I don't know...just throwing out ideas...LOL

LOVE IT! I noticed it right away and it made me think, "Gee, I've had the same siggy for 3 years. Maybe I should change it." I didn't, but it made me think!

I asked Jeff if he could put all the graphics up on one web page for us to see all in one spot. He said he could, but is swamped with the first day back to work. Hopefully he'll start on everything tomorrow.

I couldn't sleep last night so I did some more playing with the graphic. Are there too many Mickey's? I might try to put the fab five on deck instead of just Mickey and Minnie. I'm still not real happy with the graphics on the lock walls but I got tired of googling.

I like this one too... I like the fab five idea.

I love the concept of this one, I think the coloring is tricky though. Could the coloring of the ship kinda "pop" more? Brighter black, gold and red?

Not sure what you want to do, but if you click on quick links above and then edit signature, you'll find where you can change font size and colors etc. Just highlight what you want changed and click on the new size or color.

The one thing I'm going to warn people about up front. If you are going to use either of the big online shirt companies to do shirts/stickers etc. they will reject your artwork. I even had a fight with cafepress about using the Disney font and ended up needing to use zazzle.

Obviously, for anything you are doing on your own, there won't be an issue (Unless Disney gets really heavy handed, which they've never done)

I've loved this idea all along and know that the castles are gone, I'm sure my boys would agree

Zazzle sounds good. I wonder if a small independent (mom and pop) type t-shirt business could or would do it?

We used Zazzle. The old cruise thread has the link to them still.
Zazzle was easier to use for the image, but they required more of a markup. (They ran a dollar or so more an item). Not sure if that's still the case.

Domain is registered, hosting is getting set up now.

Here's some info for people.

1. I haven't read any PMs yet because I don't want to loose anything. Don't panic. The cruise is still way out. More will join, some will leave. Lots will change.

2. For picture sizes, You can send me anything. However, I'm going to crop it down to something realistic for web viewing, with a max dimension of 800 pixels in the longest dimension.

3. I plan to do the list very similar to the last canal list (But mercifully using a database this time) - http://www.tiggerfan.net:81/canal/ will pull it up (Though some stuff is broken, it's been 4 years).

4. Everyone will never be happy with the way the website looks/works/displays. I will do my best to accommodate what people want to see, but the most important thing is that the information we want to display is accessible.

5. Please provide me with as much information as you wish to provide. Some people for example do not want to provide ages of themselves or ages of children. Others don't wish to provide stateroom numbers (And realize you won't be part of the FE Exchange if we can't find you). Just please provide me with something for the stateroom, even if it is just a deck # or category.

6. This list will not be updated once we are on board. Like the last PC cruise, I will post the list on my stateroom door so that corrections/updates etc can be made as staterooms change once people get to the port. Please don't plan on FE stuff until after we depart Castaway Cay. That will give me the time I need to verify the list and get updates out, as well as give people time to find me.

7. This is the big important one, so please read If you cancel off the cruise, please let me know. We had one poor couple that was harassed with gifts and other stuff they had no desire to have last PC cruise because some DISer was too lazy to send me a PM/E-mail etc.

8. My work flow in real life is like a mountain stream. Some days it is a trickle, other days it is a torrent. Sometimes I might be responding in 30 seconds to PMs and at other times it might take me a week. If I *EVER* go more then 7 days without responding or fixing or doing whatever was needed, please bug me again. Really, I want you to. I won't bite. I probably got absent minded and missed something. However, if its been a day or two, please give me a chance to get caught up.

I should start to have some basic stuff up tomorrow regarding all of the images people have put together.
