Val that is amazing and sounds great. However I don't think we will do it unfortunately. Looks like a fabulous day though.

Gosh, Val! You should be in the activities director business!

That might be interesting. My favorite job was a project manager converting to new systems, backend and user interfaces. Should have stayed at that instead of going into management, should have learnt from dealing with those cut throat idiots on projects. Loved that job. val

Happy afternoon! Anyone else disappointed in the 2012 DCL offerings - to date? NOT what I was looking for. I would really like to do another b2b in 2012 but they didn't list the fall for any of the ships. Patience - patience - patience.

Let's hope for something a bit different to be announced soon.

I think we will be looking at other cruise lines for some different ports and experiences. I believe there are other cruise lines out there;)

We've already got a private tour set up in Costa Rica but that one does sound great as well. Ours is through Okie Dokie.

Most of the reviews on cruise critic are very good. There have been a couple of negative reviews but most have been very good with many cruisers stating he has provided the best tour they've ever been on so I feel confident.

DD is very much looking forward to seeing the crocodiles. We have seen many alligators in the wild but never crocodiles.

Best of luck with your tour. Sounds like you're going to have a fabulous time!!!

Ok - I give. Where did you find the 2012 DCL cruises? I had looked on their site earlier today and it still only showed 2011. Could you give the website address? Thanks Val

I think we'll be booking the Fantasy's MV tomorrow, but I'm still interested to see what else is announced later in the year. The possibility of Hawaii is definitely peaking my interest.

Basically in a nutshell, The Fantasy will be doing the E & W Caribbean cruises. Bookings open tomorrow for Gold & Platinum Memebers and Wed is for Silver and first time cruisers.

Nothing has been said yet about the Fall of 2012. The first voyage for the Fantasy will be April 14, 2012. Or as one of my friends put it..isn't that the 100th anniversary of the Titanic hitting the iceberg? :rotfl2:

No prices yet. Go to the DCL website, click on Ships and Activities and click on a ship (Fantasy is now there). Click on an itinerary and then chose sail dates. Platinum and Gold can start booking tomorrow. 4/7/2012 is the inaugural Fantasy but a lot of complaint about port times.

Here is a link to the inaugural Fantasy date http://disneycruise.disney.go.com/c...itineraries/7-night-western-caribbean-cruise/
It's the western itinerary.

FYI - Anyone who plans on booking the inaugural I strongly suggest you book by saying you want the inaugural/maiden voyage of the Fantasy. There is some confusion as to wether 4/7 or 4/14 is the inaugural.

If you are, which I SERIOUSLY doubt, what does that make me as now you have convinced me that I MUST do laundry if only for the fabulous entertainment it will provide =0)
Lynne, I don't know if you're checking in or not, but my DD and I are at the local animal shelters "Oktoberfest" and there are these two Beagles (boy and girl) who are absolutely adorable! The little boy follows the little girl around and lays his head across her back whether she is standing or laying down...my point...I fell in love! I can see why you like Beagles now.
Unfortunately, my dog Nellie is too nerotic to trust with other dogs so all I can do is hope that someone will adopt them together. Does anyone in So Cal want two beagles? They are $25 today and I'll pick them up for you =0)

Hi, they are cute, but so so naughty, I thought there was nothing Orly could get over me, I was wrong, while we were away at the cottage he broke into the kitchen, got on the chair, then on to the work top and stole(you would have to ask him in which order)

8 slice bread,3 rolls, packet of baby tomatoes, 2 pears, packet bisto gravy,3 sachets of hot chocolate, thats what we minded was there, god knows what else he stole.

Now, you may ask, how do I know it was him and not ruby, well........

I was on my way to work tonight and Len called to say that half the fruit was missing from the fruit bowl that was on top of the cooker including all the grapes which are poisonous, so I had to pull over and give him instructions on how to make them both be sick(theve never climbed up there before and obviously got the idea last week)

anyway, when they vomited HE !!!!! was the little git that had eaten everything.
So yes, to recap.... adorable but so so naughty.

OK trying to post puppy pic for Melissa...the Lab was happy yesterday, but after being pestered too much is not so much today.

too cute.
Not a good day here today - my Godmother has passed away :( I grew up with no aunts, uncles, cousins, or grandparents, so she was very close - loved me and my children like one of her own :(

So, I may be a little quite for a while.

Sorry Sally.

Just received an e-mail from my travel agent. I'm not booking the Fantasy...waiting for special itinerraries for Magic and Wonder...but thought some of you may like to read this.

Than you for that lovely summary, I was hunting around for details!

Any sunday sailings ,I was wanting to book anything leaving on a sunday in jan 2012? web site is beyond me.

Beagles are naughty little dogs. I swear they can't help it, it's their nose. I can open something in the kitchen and my beagle will come darting from the farthest room. My lab just ambles in after her looking at her like she's nuts (well she is, but that's besides the point).
Lynne, do yours do crazy dog? Jeff about died the first time our old beagle did it. Essentially they just run at full speed in circles for no apparent reason. Copper was known to run up the stairs and back down over and over again. Normally it was a chore to get him up the stairs. I've never known a dog to just take off in no apparent direction for no apparent reason for 10 -15 minutes just because they can. But beagles do. When the beagles do "crazy dog" my lab looks at them and hides.

ValBob - do you have any idea how long the hike through the jungle is and how strenuous?

I am very interested in joining your tour!

Thanks!

YESthey also knock stuff over and pretty much trash the place when they do it, there circuit often includes my bed if I have forgoten to shut the bedroom door and I find my duvet and pillows all over the house as they have been using them as a skidding mat.
Only 4NT on the Dream - January 08, 15, 22, 29 - 2012

Thankyou very much.

I have a lab that is a bottomless pit! DH made spagetti sauce last week, left it simmering on the stove and when about his business. Tracker put his front feet on the stove and licked right out of the pot! I am forever yelling, Tracker, get out of the kitchen! I keep their food in plastic totes (big ones) and both of them can get the lids off and will eat until caught. Now I stack them and there isn't space to get any lid off. But both of mine are big enough to just stand up on their hind legs and get whatever they want off the counter. But, I love them to pieces anyway. Dang dogs!

Well, I wanted to do a B2B on the Magic in the fall of 2012 but this not knowing is killing me. Someone in our group (and I am so sorry I can't remember who to give you credit as it was an awesome thread and you did a lot of research) posted on the main cruise page what she found on one of the port schedule sites and the Magic was going to be in Grand Cayman in October 2012 so I guess that is good enough for me, for now.

So, happy evening all, I will check in later.
