I have a question. Where on the DCL website do you input the codes for Military rates or Florida Resident rates? Does anyone know if they have released any Military rates for this cruise.

I haven't seen military rates for this cruise yet.

You can't use the main search on the home page. Click on "Search for a cruise" and this gives you a different cruise search screen that allows you to enter a discount code. FLR is FL resident, MTO is military and KSO is Kids Sail Free. I've never know them to change.

Hi All. I wanted to get your experienced opinions

We have some relatives that want to join us on this cruise. The prices are still a little out of their reach (if they want to stay reasonable as my BIL puts it). Given that there are still so many open categories, do you all think the prices will come down/special rates will be offered like KSF?

If so when would you guess that would happen--I know, I know only guesses and DCL can be unpredictable.

So far we are booked on the Cabo Whale Watch expidition. We're thinking of renting a jeep in Aruba. Is anyone still working on a group discount? We're hoping for the train and boat excursion in CR. We may get off the boat and walk around in Manzilla and PV.

I looked at zazzle and made some alterations to the shirt I'm getting. I lowered the logo a little on the back and added my screen name and real name above the dis address on the front. My "names" are larger than the type size for dis. I also plan on ordering the army color in long sleeves. I need to check with Carly and Joe on what they want.

Wow.. sounds like your plans are ours! We are looking at the train/boat in CR and only walking around in PV... rented a car in Aruba though..not a jeep.

I booked the PV city tour, but may cancel further down the line. We are thinking about taking a taxi to the arches and walking back to the ship. I know it's a bit of a walk, but just want to see the statues & stuff along the strip. Let me know if anyone is up for that, we can discuss it later.

Yes, that is part of why I like zazzle. I've set it to basically give everyone the option to do pretty much whatever they want. Definitely helps satisfy everyone. I just wish they didn't require I take a fee.

I know they have some Disney designs. I would like to put Chip 'n Dale on the front pocket area. Do you know how to make that type of customization?

Just rebooked the cruise. I save around $800 and went from Deck 2 to deck 7 witha verandah. We could of saved some more but it would be deck 1 and I heard that is pretty noisy withthe engine and the crew, I know we had to go to medical for my husband and they are on Deck 1 and it was pretty busy. This might make up a little for what Disney overcharged me on the TA.

This means I do not have a room number yet. I will let you know as soon as we get it.

Well, sad day for the Lindamood family - DH's mom fell and broke her hip this morning so the December reunion will not be. I just hope she gets through the surgery and back up on her feet without any major complications. But, she is 88 so we shall see how that goes.

We booked the Rain Forest Aerial Tram in Puntarenas. I'm thinking one of the Beach Resorts for Manzanillo. Anyone else planning to go to one of these, if so which one?

We're doing karmina. Yes the times are late afternoon, but even by then, the weather is going to be cooler, so I'd rather be outside in the warmer afternoon

We picked Karmina based on reviews elsewhere about all the resorts. Karmina was rated the highest. Plus it had pools and beach. They also had water activities like kayaks. And beer/ wine/ drinks are included, not just soda. Hey gotta have something for mom and dad too!

Well here is something weird...I was able to book my in laws ( linked reservation) for Palo,(dinner Panama Canal night) but I could not book excursions for them. I was able to get what my husband son and I wanted, but I hope that the excursions that we wanted to go on as a group are still available.

That happened to us when my parents (platnium CC) tried to book all of our shore excursions at 120 days, my DH & I are gold. They were able to book Palo, but couldn't book shore excursions even though our ressies are linked together. Got it booked last night though and hopefully you'll get your ressies as well.

I am almost certain that linked excursions in advance is only for concierge guests.

Phew...I just finished skim reading all the pages. You guys move quickly! Gail, I'm sorry to hear about your MIL, hope she has a quick and uneventful recovery. And congrats to everyone who was able to use the new discounts. I suppose an Australian residents discount would be highly unlikely

Well we've been busy trying to sort out what excursions we want to do as we leave in 77 days. Also going to have a few short trips and make-up christmas parties with family before we go so time is scarce!

We're only 2 doing DCL excursions, the Tequila making one in Puerto Vallarta and the Rainforest Aerial Tram in Puntarenas. We've organized private tours for the rest of the ports and we'll DIY in Cabo San Lucas. Let's hope that all 20 of us are able to book the same excursions. The rest of our travelling party are first time cruisers.
