One of the issues with having borders on the photos is resizing. Disney's photos are weird sizes - 6x8 for instance. I like to print them as 5x7's - but the proportion isn't right so part of the boarder gets cut off.
Last cruise, the kids/grandkids/ were in another cabin, and they bought the cd. Obviously the ones where we were all together in the photo were on their cd, but the ones of DH and I alone were not (different cabin). But, if you buy the cd, you can buy any (not stock) printed photos for half price. So it wasn't a bad deal. We just got ours that way.
