From WDW to DL With Love - January 06, 2011 part 2

We usually rent a car as I don't mind driving in So Cal.

Really? I have lived here for 35 years and I even mind durring certian parts of the day.

We are hoping to stay a GCH after the cruise and stay 2 nights but we are taking DCL transport to there. 3 years ago we used Prime Time and it was a night mare getting to the port and then getting to DL so we want someone who knows how to get there! it's already in our cruise price.

Obviously there's no knowing for sure, but when I took the canal cruise a couple of years ago, we had no problem getting from GCH to the port using Disney transit. I would think they will have transit available back to DL.

Keep in mind, this is the start of the Wonder being home-ported in L.A. - so you can bet they'll be setting up transit of some sort not just for this cruise, but for those that follow. I expect we'll hear something as things get closer.

She is doing better. The first couple of days were pretty awful. She is still very swollen, and the left side of her mouth is still numb. I'm hoping that will go away when the swelling goes down. She can't open or close her mouth very much at all. Other than that, she is doing pretty well.

How are things going with you?

Just going to take time bu the sound of it.
Lots of tlc and she will be right as rain in no due time.
I am fine, went to edinburgh yesterday to visit a friend that I worked beside a bit ago, actually she has a huge posh house next to the American Embassy, i was thinking of you guys, it was so pretty , the wind was perfect and it was sunny. I do like the usa flag, anyway, getting to the point ...I bought new shoes.

I mostly lurk on this thread and I will be very happy to cruise thru the PC in my cheap room. I think my last car cost less than that cat. 3 room.

I just bought a new camera for this trip but I am going to test it out at the Flower & Garden Festival in May when I go see Davy Jones. Yes, Davy Jones may be a little corny but then again so am I.

I would love to see DL after the cruise but I am worried about transportation from port to DL, then from DL to the airport. I need something really, really easy and reliable. I may have to just take the DCL tfrs straight to the airport and skip it. If anyone has any ideas, let me know.

I am worried too about this so I cant help, what kind of new camera do you have, we bought an olympus tough for our cruise 2 years ago and LOVE it.

Good morning everyone! I hope you are all great and looking forward to the holiday weekend. So nice here I have broken out my Burks and capris. LOVE IT but I am also pretty sure we will have at least one more snow - just hoping I am wrong.

Love all the talk of DL and staying but I am really thinking that we will just head home. But, I have not purchased airline tickets yet so one never knows...

We are with you as well. It will be nice having the weekend at home before having to go back to work. We have not made any decisions for the LA part of our trip and since we KNOW we are using Southwest for this part, we have some time to decide.

Hello all. Well off to Disneyland again today. We are going to a DVC event at the Grand Califorian tonight. I know one of the gudies doing the event. He is out from FL. Should be cool. I am hoping to sneek out early to see the Electric Parde one more time before it ships to FL. I still have two more weeks to see it. So today will be the first time I am useing my new Premier Pass. I hope some of the growing pains the Cast Members were going through are over. Should be interesting. Oh a movie tip. Skip Clash of The Titans. I saw a midnight showing last night. Two thumbs way down.

We wish everyone a very Happy Easter and share a picture of my DD with the Easter bunny. We've taken her to Disney since she was 2 months old so she loves all characters. She even tried to calm the next little girl in line that was not too thrilled about seeing the Easter bunny.
