Happy Friday, everyone!

Just wanted to give a couple reminders:

If you have not given Tigfanjeff your info for the PC cruise website, please do so if you'd like to be included on that.

Also, as things start to heat up for our cruise please list any FE, Secret Santa, etc in red as this will help your important posts to be easily recognized.

As Carol, pahrumpgirl, has stated earlier, we have enough participants for the give a dry wipe board as our FE gift to everyone group. However, groups for other things can also be formed. Of course, none of the groups will be FIRMED up until we pass final payment time.

Happy Friday, everyone!

Can the "where we are staying" section be updated? It would be nice to see who might be near your room.

And I second the motion to have a link for the 5K runners at CC.

Hope everyone has a great weekend - whether at DL or WDW or at home.

CAn we have a bit on the web site to sign up for the cc 5k, so nobody can back out? :goodvibes

I'll bring it up to Jeff. He's been swamped with work.

He's been updating the who's who list, but the other pages have been neglected. Work has been horrific lately and baseball season is starting here in Florida. Jeff umpires and has been doing games weekly (how's that for warm weather thoughts - while it's cold for us, it's still warm enough for baseball!).
He's also still working on the navigators from 05. He wants to maintain quality so people can read them but not have them be horrible downloads size wise for anyone on sketchy internet connections.
He does appreciate everyone's patience with the website. Jeff doesn't do anything computer related that isn't perfect. That's why he's good at his job, but it also means things take time. He hasn't forgotten about all the updates! He will get there, I promise!

If it would help, I can scan the 05 navigators in and e-mail it to him. My scanner is pretty good and I don't think the file size would be unmanageable. I could always scan one page and send it to him. If he thinks it's okay, I can scan the rest.

He's doing an awesome job with the website and I know how hectic life can get sometimes so I would be more than happy to help if I can. Luckily, I'm my work is not hectic right now.

DH and I talked briefly about the 5K last night and he said he would like to give it a try. We'll have to start training for it but his schedule at work is about to lighten up a little so that will give us time to do so. As of right now, we are in  Hope I can do it!

If they offer the Castaway Cay 5K run on our trip, how many of you are thinking of doing it? I'd like to try it (assuming they offer it), and I was just wondering who else might be interested.

No. But I will wave at all of you from my massage cabana if it will invigorate you.

I was the girl in school who walked the mile while reading a book.

I need to add to the dog parade:

On the left is Dodger. He's a rescue. We know he's a chocolate lab (duh) but not sure what else. We think some sort of small version of a greyhound based on the way he runs. The dog is crazy fast. On the right is momma beagle, Josie. She's 9 and such a great dog. Also a rescue.
This is Sam:

He's my mom's beagle. Although he has papers, I'm not convinced he's a pure beagle. He's HUGE. More like a harrier.
I have to throw in this pic:

That would be Jack with Jeff. Ain't he cute? (Jeff too)
Its a ruby dog:lovestruc
Yes, they are both cute!:goodvibes
Me Me I want to do it! I was sad to miss it on my last DCL trip. On our RC cruise on Freedom of the Sea- I did 3 miles on deck for Make a wish- very fun (except for the head wind at the bow!)
I will see you 6am deck 4:cutie:
I love seeing everyone elses' furry Family members so I wanted to share mine

This is my Rascal. We have had him for 13 years and I love coming home to him.

I love this picture of him in the water. He is not a big fan of water but the morning we went for this walk the water was so crystal clear and he just wandered right it

Hope everyone has a wonderful Friday :cool1:
Rascal has a lot of presence.:)
Hello all!
Great animal pics!

Randy and I are also talking about running the 5k at Castaway Cay! I guess we had better start training now!:scared1:

Tomorrow we are headed to DL! We are going to have a nice time, just the two of us!

I hope everyone has a great friday!!
Have a great time.

If I can do it, anyone can (not that I know I can do it, but we can both bring up the rear together. It will be nice to have company at the back!:rotfl:

I am sure we can rig up something where you can read the book whilst doing the CC 5K:laughing:

I tried that last cruise. First morning, got up early, got to deck 4 and after several goes round the deck realized I had totally wrecked my heels. Not wanting to disturb the rest of the family too much, I had put my shoes on without socks and the back of my foot was rubbed raw. I had to wear sandals for the rest of the week, my walking career was over. Silly me! :rolleyes1 - to cap it of, the rest of my clan were still asleep when I returned to the cabin :sad2::sad2:

Anyways, I would be a maybe....

Oh, that a shame!! I used to get up early cause of jet lag and run around deck 4 till gym opened, one am there was this little bird, I chased it for 3 miles then I was so stressed I had to stop, I swear It just kept flying then stopping then when i caught up it flew again. I felt bad for it:upsidedow so I stopped.

My jet lag is the other way from yours. I am on PST (GMT - 8 hrs) so 3 hours behind FL. Its amazing how much 3 hours takes out of you. The plus side is that I can catch a flight that gets into FL at midnight and I am fine ;) One trip we did that into Tampa and then stopped for groceries on the way to our vacation home. I was shopping in Walmart at 3am! Even more annoying was the phone call 6 hours later from the management company :sad2::sad2:

Those who have been following the BL thread on the Wish board will know I had spine surgery last year and only have been allowed to start gentle exercise in the past few weeks, but hopefully my back n' body will be up to it by then, in wish case I'd love to give the CC5K a go too :)

I'm grateful that he's doing this - makes it nice for all of us. Give him my "thanks".

Today, we had liquid sunshine, lots of wind and no power for several hours. Such fun. However, I count my blessings because I don't have to shovel anything!

Well I am freezing my you know what off here at EPCOT. At least I have a Grey Goose lemon slush to make me happy.

TBO with you, cause I swap from night shift every week for last 10 years, I am really good at doing without sleeping and swapping myself over, but I do it at both ends and end up hardly sleeping, If I didnt think it was shortning my life span I would like it!:goodvibes

It is a Vodka drink. I too wish the weather would improve. Today the high is going to be 53, yes only 53 in Lake Buena Vista. Oh well. I have my jacket. Well I have a a full day, DHS with lunch at Sci-Fi and dinner at Boma.
