Well the airfares from Australia are booked YAHOO!!:cheer2: Looks like we will spend a few days at Disneyland and then WDW before the cruise to take in the Christmas decorations then a few days after in the cruise in Disneyland to celebrate my Birthday. I have decided to transfer my ressie to a TA to double dip with onboard credits. We booked onboard the EBTA. Now I am looking forward to the Port adventures being posted so I can decide what we are going to do in each port. Does anyone have any ideas about must sees for each port?

Did you enjoy it? We loved it...definitely needed tissues...

Yes, we did!! We took a couple of our friends who had never seen the first two, the wife seemed to enjoy it. The husband called it a good kids movie. :confused3

A good kids movie? He is so wrong. It is a good, no, great movie period. I love working holidays. I am starting a not 1, not 2, but a 3 hour break. Yessssss

Melissa, thanks for asking about my dad. He's holding his own but it's such a sad way to go - so undignified. but i'm so glad to have him for each day he's here.

all, happy birthdays/graduations/grandkids. or get well to you and yours. i'm just so out of the loop now not reading every day.

Good Morning, Everyone!

Supposed to be a scorcher here today. You guys who knew about ribs were right - the man is in pain. I feel SO sorry for him.

No pool today, I decided to stay home and chill out after yesterday. We had supper guests and it's always more work, although very fun. We sat out and chatted until darkness fell and the bugs came out.

Trying to reconfigure cabins so we can add a 4th girl. It is NOT easy, and it IS going to be expensive, however we slice it. Wish I could find her a room mate!

Happy Day, all!

Happy day-after-the-fourth!!

Sorry I haven't been around as much -- so busy with work and I was in a wedding.

DH and I leave for Florida six months from today!!!

And we get to see you lovely folks six months from tomorrow.

Still waiting for our hotel to open up -- but we're getting more and more excited for the trip everyday. :hippie:

Those six months will go quickly I think - but, we now have one more holiday to get checked off the list. Mine was spent alone (well, with the dogs anyway) and I found out that this 70 pound lab we have that has never been afraid of anything, does not like it when the neighbors shoot off fireworks. Silly boy tried to get under the bed - tried so hard I was worried that he would not be able to get unwedged but he finally managed. How odd that at his ripe old age of 6 that he is now starting to be afraid. The golden just looked at him like he was nuts, which was really good since I don't need 130 pounds of scardy cat labs.

Today I managed to get some laundry done and get another drawer cleaned out in the kitchen (yep, maybe by next spring I will have finished this year's spring cleaning - or not). Hot, muggy and not cooling off at night but hopefully that will change tomorrow.

Take care everyone, have a good week.

Belated Happy 4th July to those who celebrate it :)

Sherri - sorry to hear how things are going - warm thoughts to you and yours.

Day off work today, but DH is working from home, so I have a full house - might escape to the mall by myself for an hour or two ;)

Hope you're all having a great day / evening.

Cheers,
Sally :)

We just returned from watching Toy Story 3. WOW!!! What a great movie! Yes, definitely a tear jerker. We all enjoyed it and DS kept asking why it had to be over. I hope they are still playing it on the Wonder in Jan because I'd love to see it again on the big screen and we had so much fun watching movies on sea days.

We'll be seeing Toy Story 3 on Sunday for my nephew's 3rd birthday party so I guess I better go prepared with my tissues. Thanks for the heads up.

Darn the long weekend is over, now back to work in the morning.

We went to see TS3 this morning, and left even before the title came on. The previews were LOUD and when the movie started, it was even LOUDER! We thought our ears would bleed! Anyway, we're going to try another theatre and hope that they don't play it at 110 decibels.

Othrwise, I have to hope they will be showing in on the Wonder in September or in January.

That's too bad. We had the opposite experience - I think they should have had the volume louder as we could hear the movie next to us much of time. We didn't miss out on any of TS3, but it was definitely the quietest movie I have seen in the theater. But given your situation or mine, I'd take mine. Good luck in catching it soon.

OK not even going to attempt to go back and read all that I've missed!! Y'all have been busy!!

Linda - I hope DH is on the mend!!

Sherri - you are in my thoughts.

Would so love to buy in DVC Hawaii - but DH says no. Over and over and over.:rotfl:Something about getting our own house built first...blah, blah, blah.

Sure looks beautiful!

Looking at formal dresses and pirate costumes online. I know Alan - no pirate night for you ;) but my girls love it. Can't wait for the official itinerary to be posted - which nights are themed, etc. So I can finish buying those outfits. Found some great deals at Disney store dot com - bathing suits and tshirts so getting those things now.

Read over on DCL forum US passport fees are going up on July 13th - so worth mentioning here if anyone needs to get a passport or renew - there is a few buck to be saved doing it in the next week.

Good Morning, Everyone!

DH is insisting that we keep to our plan of driving to West Point today to buy our military tickets for Disney in September. Never mind that he is in pain and can't drive. We MUST go today.

I'm thinking that it is NOT the brightest thing to be doing - I will have to do all the driving, I woke up at 3 am this morning, I have something every single night this week, a poster to finish for Saturday's 80th BD party, it's supposed to be 95 today, to say nothing of the fact that he's in pain. MEN!!!! I SO do not understand the urgency. :confused3

Hope everyone has a great day :)

Woohoo!!!!!!!!

Only 6 months to go!:yay:

Six months from to-now, we will be riding to the port from the Spring Hill, Tampa area. I will get dropped off at the port and DH will return the car to Budget and ride back in their van.

I hope everyone is staying cool. I think we have had more hot weather so far this summer than we had all of last summer. NOT my idea of a good time. I wish our evenings could get back down in the 50's, then I don't care how hot the days are.

Take care!

Today I began booking ADR's for the trip. We have the Beirtgarten for Sunday Jan 2. West Point. My Dad was a West Point Grad. I have never been but I hope to get to go one day. Actually I have on a West Point watch right now. Another not so sunny day in Florida.

I hear ya Lexi, I would love to see the sun again here in the "sunshine state".
We're planning a big dinner at Napa Rose the Friday we get to DL. I have family we rarely see in Anaheim. They are going to meet us at the GC for dinner. Other than that, who knows!

WEll, DH must have read my mind because when he got up he had decided maybe we shouldn't go on a road trip today.:rolleyes1 Well, no kidding.

So, I went to the gym and pool, and then signed up our next room mate. so instead of the "3 wicked women", we've become the "4 Wicked Women" (Ursula- that would be me, Malificent and the Evil queen. #4 has yet to pick her personae). As soon as I can collect photos of the other three, I'll send the new information to Jeff for the cruise web site. We did decide to split up into two cabins, though.

Hope you're all having a GREAT Day!

Saw Toy Story 3 with DH and DGS yesterday. Brought my tissues. And like Goldilocks it was neither too loud or too soft, it was just right! I didnt want it to be over either.

LindaBabe hope hubby is feeling better soon. Cant believe he will drive to buy tickets with cracked ribs but wont go on the cruise!!

Healing wishes to all of you with injuries or sick loved ones.

And hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend.

Do you think we will start seeing excursions listed next month??
