From the Med to the Panama Canal

Maybe we can plan a mini meet when I am out in LA next month? Any takers? Steve without the boys?? I am planning on being in LA from the 24th to 29th. Kenzie is on Easter break. I will be based in palos verdes but will have car... Think about it and see if you have suggestions.... More minds are better than MINE....

I will have to do an In-N-Out Burger stop this time.. someone gipped me last time, ALEX!!!!! and he also gipped me out of the italian place in venice too! Boy this trip is going to cost him ALOT!! Sorry about the rant...

We/I would up for a mini-meet that week or weekend. If anyone is also interested in seeing the Los Angeles Live Steamer's Railroad Museum (www.lals.org), taking a ride on a 1/8th scale train, or seeing Walt's barn that he had at his home, let me know (I do store my train there and am always glad to pull friends!). As for IN-N-OUT, count us in (one of the boy's fave spots!) We also could have a great night at a Buca De Bepo for real family style Italian! Or for the Beer Boys, a night over at Gordon Biersch (www.gordonbiersch.com)

The train sounds awesome and so does the beer. Gordon Biersh place is directly across the street from Alex's overnight hotel in Burbank. We love that place!!
It's got IN-N-OUT burger, boba drink place, gordon's beer place and IKEA! What more could you ask for in an overnight....

That is certainly an option. Wednesday may be the best day for me, but other dates are workable.

Don't be scared, snow doesn't hurt just a little wet sometimes! Oh yeah speaking of snow its snowing again here. So we couldn't see the eclipse last night...

The Good News is that its Sunny here today so far no snow or rain yet!

The Bad News is that DH got his schedule and is working friday thru mondays in March so that means we need to ask the Easter Bunny to come hopping here on another day.... Or maybe just have too Easter Egg Hunts....

OK today was the 75 day mark. I meant to get on last night, but forgot. I just spent the last 3 hours trying to get excursions. We really wanted to get one (or more) of the canopy adventures. We finally succeeded in getting the "Outdoor Adventure" which includes the zip lines as well as a bunch of other stuff. Hope my feet hold out! So I am no longer taking the Mexican Cooking class.

BTW, there were still no Palo brunches available.

Wait a minute, I think that I am at the table just out of the photo to the right with my arm around that Harvey's sherry bottle and clutching it! The funny thing was that while I was buying a bottle of the very nice reserve it turned out that my ex GF was stealing the small glass she was drinking from! Go figure!... Can I go back to Jerez if I promise to return her glass??
