From the Med to the Panama Canal

Wait a minute, I think that I am at the table just out of the photo to the right with my arm around that Harvey's sherry bottle and clutching it! The funny thing was that while I was buying a bottle of the very nice reserve it turned out that my ex GF was stealing the small glass she was drinking from! Go figure!... Can I go back to Jerez if I promise to return her glass??:rotfl:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Karen, have you been checking the PV canopy. I signed on and got it for Jonathan on Sunday morning. Maybe I just was on at the right time. I'll bet they open it up the first day onboard.

The "Outdoor Adventure" that Curt and I signed up for is a camopy adventure also, just a little more extreme. The early time spot did not have two openings, but we got the 9:30am slot. Both Canopy adventures in PV are run by the same site. Here is the web link for the one we are doing:

http://www.vallarta-adventures.com/outdoor-challange/index.html

I think Jonathan might be interested in this one also. It involves a speed boat, a mule ride, the zip lines, repelling down waterfalls. They promise you that you will get wet - the video on the site demonstrates why. On the left hand site of the site you can see the link to the regular "canopy tour". This is the one we did in 2005 if anyone has any questions about it.

Hi there, just checking in.. I am crazy around here and getting close to my wits. I am not lurking either just no time for computer lately. I am hoping to get caught up next week.....

Hi everyone,
I am having such a hard time keeping up with the big thread that it must seem like I am forgetting us here! I will be at the Sunday morning DL meet and hope to see others there from this group.
Ok, back to my reading on the big board!

I am down with pnuemonia again. It was suppose to be family night tonight and we were going to surprise DD to go to Disney on Ice Princess Wishes. Unfortunately I can't go so DH took DD and the neighbor kid. I am jealous I wanted to go. i can't wait for them to get home and tell me all about it and see the pictures. I am suppose to be resting but I am bored out of my mind. It's just like last year at this time all over again.

I am sorry you are down, Karen. This flu season has been awful. I got the flu nearly 4 weeks ago, and am just now starting to feel normal, though I am still coughing. grrr. Sometimes reading the trip reports is a good time-passer. It's like taking a virtual vacation! I hope you feel better soon.:flower3:

I just can't figure out where I am going wrong with taking care of myself. No wise cracks Flyboy!!!! Now I am all messed up on time with taking all these meds esp the one with coedine in it. yes I am just reading that big thread and trying to comprehend it all. I felt bad for missing Disney on Ice tonight with Kenzie, but her and her friend had a great time Flyboy said. So now that the neighbor knows that I am sick I think food some good homecooked food will start to show up. It was nice when my neighbor was the Relief Society President because there have been a couple of dishes out of this world. OK I am babbling. Bye

Yes, that is why we started this thread. When the big thread began there about 3 times more people on it and it was impossible. Even now that it is smaller there are still 20+ pages per day.

pnuemonia again! OUCH - how many times have you had pnuemonia? Take care of yourself.

Zoe's been sick for 2 weeks, I'm finally letting her go back to the gymnastics class performance today, but the doctor said the cough will last for weeks.

Jonathan's so sick and having to do 2 days in a row of 6 lectures. So, he's not coming to the Dismeet on Sunday. Where it is now supposed to rain.

Yep, Mormons like to feed people when they are sick. I always think it is funny in this day and age when Taco Bell and Dominos are so close. Homemade food really hits the spot whenyouaresick, though, and it shows people care. I hope your neighbors take good care of you.

THIRD TIME in a year!!! Its been raining and snowing here. Alex has opened all the windows in the east side of the house to get all the bad germs gone. Sorry to hear Jonathan and Zoey down too! I hope they feel better soon. Public places and being sick recently doesn't really excited me. I need to get better for this cruise. No doubt that home cooked food always taste the best forget the fast food or restaurant food.

OK I know I am sick  so Alex downloaded the new edition of the Passporter for me to read while in bed. He also ordered one book for each of our newbies on this cruise. It says 354 pages but for the life of me I can't find the section about the ports. That is all I really wanted to read not the other stuff. I guess I will have to wait until he comes from doing errands to figure it out. It would be just so much easier if the book was out.

Anyone up for a PJ breakfast again like on the TA? I suggest the second sunday on the ship, I believe is May 18th at 9am in Luminere's. What do you all think?

We never made those because we are always so off schedule. I want to do it, I just never do. Jonathan always wants to go the friends of Bill W. meetings, but he's never up in time.

At least this time we won't have such a time issue we should be gaining time this time...:cool1: :cool1: Even for Alex who loves to sleep said 9am sounded reasonable as long as the boy's club doesn't keep him out till the wee hours of the morning....:lmao: :lmao: I am so happy that Alex had his guy time and hopefully they will rekindle their time together. Almost sounds like a love story as i am writing it.

Dr. Rachid (got his Ph.D in August) and Dr. Ted will be missed.

Been a week here on the westside of town. Tuesday Mom fell and sprained her ankle pretty bad. Wednesday Alex took me into urgent said I had pneumonia again and had to peal Alex off the ceiling. So they gave us drugs and sent me home to rest. Thursday night starting to worse like really scary worse. Alex said i will take you back tomorrow just keep taking the meds so they have a chance to work. While we were getting ready to take me back my mom calls and says having a heart attack. So kenzie stays home with me last night, and alex meet them at the ER. he was there until the wee hours of the morning today, but when he came home and heard me. He took me back in. The doctor said I don't have pneumonia again but a serious sinus infection and if they had a good exam they would of seem it. She was even disgusted by her fellow colleague. So we came home today with more meds. The cough syrup is working but man its every four hours on the dot. Took all my doses of antibotic don't feel much difference in the breathing ability.

Now alex is off to work, mom's at the hospital with dad and i can't leave the house. The phone are all turned back on since dad went back into the er so i am answering all incoming calls landline and cellular. So my prayers with the man above have been a little harsh these past twent four hours.

I am suppose to meet the property manager company about the renter renewing for another year. I am hoping that i will be able to travel out to LA for that by next monday. Was suppose to be there for Easter Sunday with Ann but its a wait and see right now. Its depends on my health and dad's health.
