I remember reading something about this but can't remember what I read. If we arrive on Nov 24, then Nov. 24,25,26 are all REGULAR season. BUT from Nov 27 to Dec 4 are VALUE season. If I want the rate adjusted do I have any choice but to make 2 seperate reservations? I would rather not check out and back in but it is $22 less a night for for 8 nights is a significant amout of money really. I am not counting on any codes! Thanks for the help!

You have to make 2 reservations. We did this on our last trip, as our 1st night was peak season, and then the rest of our stay was regular season. There's a good chance you won't have to change rooms (have CRO or your TA make note that it's a continuing reservation), but you will have to go through the check out/check in process an extra time. However, we did it at about 7 a.m. before heading out for the day, and it was quick and painless.

Disney will not adjust your cost down when the season changes. You are stuck paying whatever the rate is the first night of your stay.

I would just book two different reservations. You can have the CM link your reservations together in the system. Yes, theoretically, you might have to change rooms, but I have only heard of that happening once or twice. I think all you have to do is go down and get new key cards at the start of your second reservation. I would also mention to the CM when you check in originally that you have two reservations.

For $175 dollars (don't know if that includes tax, if not, then $200) savings, I think it is worth the extra hassle to make two reservations.

Thanks for the quick replies! I was afraid that would be the case but hopeful it wasn't! ;) Would booking with AAA make any difference? I guess the rates change for them too. Well, we can be a little inconvienced to save $175. That would pay for our MVMCP tickets! Thanks again. :goodvibes
