Wonderful pictures from BLT especially the ones of the girls enjoying the pool.
Sounds like y'all had a great Saturday. Sorry for the scary "church lady".
Brooklynn's hair cut is perfect. She looks more grown up and her hair does look fuller and more bouncy.
We had a nice time Friday and Saturday, and after I left to come home, they still had an evening birthday party to go to. I saw the invitation/directions paper that was sent out, and they were going to be having BBQ ribs, potato salad, and baked beans (and kid food for the kids), so their Saturday continued to get even better.
I think Brooklynn was not only too young to understand the lady, but too tired to care what she was saying.
I love this picture!
Who would have thought a couple of old geezers could have caught a second wind and headed back our for the night?!?
Seriously though, when does a person have the chance to just stroll over to Magic Kingdom?
If you are me, the answer is never.
So off we went.
I know - you two threw those walking canes in a corner and took off!
It had to be very, very nice to walk across the street to Magic Kingdom.
Well another term is over. I got a 94 in math (such a happy surprise, since math is my worst subject) and a 98 in Early Childhood Development. So since I've got a week off between terms, it is officially time to play catch up on the DIS before I go to Puerto Rico to visit my boyfriend and his family. Now as usual, here are a few comments that stood out as I was catching up.
I loved the pictures from the Great Atlanta Cupcake Dismeet. Although, it's terrible that some cupcakes had to be trashed.
Magicshell - oh my goodness, sorry to hear about your allergic reaction to the ants. I'm also allergic but I have never has that reaction. I hope by now you are doing much better.
When I was on my high school dance team, the whole squad's ponytails would swing like Brooklynn's hair because we were always walking with a purpose.
Bellarie as Ariel is SO precious.
The pool at BLT looks amazing, in fact the whole resort looks amazing.
Brooklynn's haircut is so adorable.
Loved the pics from the 4th of July. Fireworks are hard to take pictures of unless you have a high tech camera, with that being said, MeMom your pictures look better than any ones I ever attempted to take.
Congratulations on your good grades.
When are you going to Puerto Rico?
Do you need to meet outside a park when we come? I didn't know what your ticket situation was, and we will be outside the parks every day for a while to see Trent, since he won't have a ticket except for one day.
I too am not a good picture taker of fireworks! They don't EVER turn out like some I've seen. It looks like you had a fun night with some great people.
Drew could have gotten some good ones from that view, I bet.
We did have a fun night. It was pretty crowded up there, though, and Bella and I ended up inside the lounge after a short while so that she could get down and walk. The elevators were crazy trying to get back to the rooms, too. But, I am glad we were able to do it, since that is a rare opportunity!
Great people, for sure.
i've been gone for a while getting ready for Caleb's birthday party that we had today (which by the way he had no clue it was his birthday...his cousins ended up opening his presents because he had no interest except for LOVING eating his cake) I am was way behind! LOVE brooklyn's new haircut...looks soo grown up!
That's why I don't stress out about presents for little ones, because they don't know the difference.
I'm glad you had some fun family time.
Love all of Brooklynn's books. My guess is the book on bats and the book on elephants. I know Hannah would love the book about bats. We were in Books-A-Million last night and I saw a Halloween book about bats. I didn't get it but I think I'll go back for it.
Brooklynn looks so grown up with her new hair cut! The Church Lady

me! Even with the scary Church Lady it looks like ya'll had a great time.
Awesome evening pictures!
I was in Books-a-Million the other day, too, but I left empty-handed. I was just browsing anyway, and I knew I'd rather spend the money at Brooklynn's book fair.
Thanks MeMom & Wig'd, I can't wait to see everything!
One day I do hope we can meet!
I hope you are right about the crowds.
It will be a nice change to not be complaining about the heat.....
These next 3 months are the busiest retail days of the whole year!
I am so happy to have a Disney trip as a reward at the end of all the madness!
I was looking forward to Yak & Yeti but it will have to be another trip.
I had to make changes in my plans when I found out the last days for the holiday stuff.
The last day to see the "Mickey's Once upon a Christmas parade" and "Holiday Wishes" is Jan.1. so it will now be MK on arrival day and Kona for dinner.
Fantasmic is only showing Sat and Sun so it has to be HS on Jan.2. SCI FI for dinner. Osbourne Lights is still showing!!!
Last day for the "Jingle Jungle parade" is Jan.3. So AK is a must! We will go to Chef Mickey's for dinner and then DTD!
Epcot will be Jan.4. Dinner at Garden Grill with Farmer Mickey and Chip & Dale!
Our last park day has to be MK! Bkfst at Crystal Palace and dinner at Ohana. We will say good bye til we can go again....probably next August/September.
Short and sweet trip but sooo worth it!
P.S. LOVE THE RED,WHITE and BLUE flower leis!!!
Sounds like your trip script has sort of written itself. I am excited for you to see Jammin' Jungle. Don't skip out on that. You will love the details in the floats.
Our Epcot meal on this trip will be from kiosks as we eat around World SHowcase at the F&W Festival.
Our trip is short, too, but anything is better than nothing. In March, I am hoping we can stay from Saturday morning until Thursday evening, and then in the summer, we'll be able to stay longer. Those long trips are just unbeatable, and they spoil you really fast. 4-5 day trips just seem like a blink of an eye compared to those!
We're looking forward to our first 'Ohana dinner next summer. We've done breakfast before.
What a fun weekend with your girls!!! I was going to guess that you bought Bats and Little Elephant's Trunk for yourself, but I see someone already beat me to it.
I love that you all had 4th of July leis for the fireworks!
You guessed right. The elephant one reminded me too much of my beloved Animal Kingdom safari not to get it.
