Senior year is crazy which is why it took me four days to respond to this :rotfl:

I was in no rush for my kids to leave, either. I like having them around. Drew stays with friends a lot now, so he's in and out. I might not see him for several days, but he always is glad to get back to his own home. I have talked about selling this house and moving one of these days, but Trent has forbidden me to give away his childhood home. He says all of the bumps and scratches around here are his memories, and he doesn't want to give them up. He started making his mark on this house as we were moving in by skidding and running his Geoffrey giraffe riding toy off the kitchen steps down into the den. :rotfl:

I don't think my mom wants to move, but if she did I wouldn't let her either :rotfl: I've made a few marks on this house too :rolleyes1 For example...there's a huge stain on the ceiling above my head. When I was 10 I got some of those bottle caps that you pull up instead of twisting to open it and I put one on a soda bottle...somehow it created some kind of vacuum inside the bottle and when I opened it, the soda came shooting out like a geyser :rotfl2: My mom wasn't happy but she couldn't help laughing :rotfl: She could've painted over it at some point but she hasn't so I guess it doesn't bother her much

I saw that adorable video of Bella! When I was 5 or 6 I had a Little Mermaid computer game that I played all the time and I always sang along with that part

Here's some exciting news! Meg and I have a DIS meet in the works. We don't have a date yet but we're gonna go to the aquarium in Boston :dance3:

(I read over this before I posted it and found about 5 typos. This is what happens at 11 PM on a Friday night after a long week :lmao: I apologize for any typos that I missed!)

Hey MeMom and Gang! Just wanted to POP in and say we leave in a few hours for Disney. I can't wait to see what Ty will think about it.;) I try to send a few updates by phone if I can. I'm not to savvy in that department.
See ya Saturday!

How funny, that was the first thing that ran through my mind also!

Nope, no voyeurism here.

Of course, I can't guarantee I won't snap a picture or two if I ever come across 'my' Naveen resting when I walk by a room. :rolleyes1

My bathroom wall has a couple of tiny little drawings that Drew did when he was very small. They are on dark wallpaper and are about the size of a dime, so they have just stayed there for years. Whenever I finally pull that wallpaper off, I have a feeling I will cut out the little gingerbread men-type figures and keep them forever.

I mess up all the time. I usually see my mistakes when someone quotes me, as you did. I noticed I didn't capitalize giraffe, when it should have been Geoffrey Giraffe - an old Toys R Us toy. I also have a couple of keys that like to stick, so sometimes it looks like I don't know how to spell!

Yay for a DIS meet! :woohoo:

Jil and I wish for your family a wonderful, magical time together! :wizard:
We look forward to pictures, if you figure out how to do it. ::yes::

The girls had changed into their bathing suits, so off we went toward the fabulous Bay Lake Tower pool.

Cool art work at BLT.

Pretty flowers along the walk.

Whew! Mom doesn't get much free computer time so I had to get caught up quickly!

So many wonderful pics and the videos are great.

We are still keeping our secret here and luckily our newbies for this trip have learned to be careful around Declan.

Not much longer now...

The BLT looks beautiful! I know the girls had fun in that pool and splash area!

What a sweet picture of Brooklynn & Bella holding hands.

The American Adventure was a great choice for July 4th. Great pictures around the world:). The pretzels and school bread looks yummy.

Yay for October being here, our trips are this month! I ended up switching around my park days again. The 18th is you guys Epcot day right? If so we can plan to meet up at some point that day!

What a wonderful time at the pool.....love the slide pictures...Brooklyn marching up the steps :) and the fountain pictures are adorable! :goodvibes Looks like a fun pool and I look forward to staying there.

Trent! The pin belongs to Trent! I had a pic of it on FB and he quickly laid claim to it.

Fairy DIS Mother, a title I will hold with honor :cloud9: Thanks Brook!

So much fun looking at the pictures of the girls in the pool! That was a fun time. Brooklynn really enjoyed that slide, I think it was perfect speed for her!

The BLT pool area looks so great... you can tell the girls were having fun! Emily and Hannah would sure love to swim with Brooklynn, she is super brave like them! Luke and Bella would be fun to watch too!

So sad that my first ever Dis meet did not work out.:sad1: I hope y'all had fun at the Fall Fest today. We were there at 8:30 so that Abby and Tom could march, tried to see some of the art judging but got pulled in a million directions by a million people. I love a good small town street festival where you know so many people there. It was a great morning. I posted on Jill's FB but Abby's game got moved earlier so we left there before 11 and I know you guys were not there yet. We'll meet up sometime. I am sure! Have a great rest of the weekend.

I love all the BLT pictures they bring back good memories of my trip last summer. I enjoyed breakfast at the Contempo Cafe in the mornings. We did not try lunch or there.

The girls look adorable in their 4th of July outfits. I look forward to the TOP pictures from later that night.

Yeay for swimming at BLT! That slide looks like a lot of fun!

Brooklynn said it was. :thumbsup2

I hope it stays a secret until you want it to be revealed. :goodvibes

So glad you checked in on us. I still long for the day our trips overlap for even one day so that we can say hello in person.

I hope Dad's new job is working out well for him.

Fun pool! Awesome!!

We stayed down there about half an hour or so, I think. It was a nice night for swimming.

Yeah, we're in Epcot on Monday. We'll be riding Nemo, possibly Soarin', eating around the world, and whatever Jill wants to do. I think our cousins are coming to Epcot in the evening, so we may let them all do Test track together while Brandy (pregnant) and I sit out with the little ones.

Brooklynn was the no fear girl this summer.

Jill likes the decor of BLT. Maybe we can afford one night there one of these days.

Jill reminded me today. Trent did grow up loving Pete's Dragon, so I can see him wanting it.

We enjoyed your company and your invitation. As soon as my school schedule comes out for next year, we will let you know. We'd love to hook up again, if it works out for you guys to be there at the same time .

The BLT pool area looks so great... you can tell the girls were having fun! Emily and Hannah would sure love to swim with Brooklynn, she is super brave like them! Luke and Bella would be fun to watch too!

This was the first time for Brooklynn to be so brave, but she really did it all. I don't think Bella will fear much, either.

The BLT pools looks like lots of fun! I bet the girls had a blast!

They did, and so did we.

That was one crowded kids' tent when we got there! :scared1:
Sorry we missed you, but I don't blame you for being ready to get out of there!

I think they will go up tomorrow.:thumbsup2
I haven't slept good in several nights, and my brain is fading out tonight.
I almost fell asleep while driving home. I'll have more fortitude in the morning, I hope.

Bringing back good memories is what all that picture-taking is about.
Glad you enjoyed seeing them. :)

Wow! What a FUN 4th of July!! The day's not over yet and you've done so much already!

All that is left is changing clothes, adorning ourselves with red, white, and blue leis, and watching some awesome fireworks! :dance3:

I've been MIA for so long that I didn't even know you were going on another trip! Love the pool pics of the girls. Brooklyn looks like she is on a mission, heading up the slide stairs. :rotfl:

Dawn, I thought of you on this one.

IMG_6651-1.jpg

:eek::eek: i must have that!!! i'm going to look online for it right now. thanks for posting it! if it didn't have wendy on it i wouldn't even give it a second glance. that's just awesome.

Neat Christmas ornaments.

IMG_6656-1.jpg

i didn't even know jim shore had ornaments. see what i get for not going to disney world for 3 whole years?

love the pics of italy. i wish i was there right now! love that pavilion.

the pictures of the girls at the pool were too cute. i love kids playing in water....they just look like they're truly having fun. one of my favorite memories of luke is when we took him to lake lanier islands and he was about 2 years old. he was in the kiddie area and kept just sticking his face in a fountain, like right in the middle of it, then he'd come up for air just giggling like crazy. so cute! oh, and BLT looks so nice. love the view! i might have to add that to my list of possibilities for our DVC rental next year. my first choice at this point is BCV or BWV just so we can be close to epcot for the F&W festival. but VWL was my third choice. might have to save that for a christmas trip and make BLT my third choice (since i hear BCV/BWV are extremely hard to get in october).

jill - love the video of bella! sooo precious! megan, my best friend melanie's little girl (the gymnast i've posted pics of on my TR who is now 10) used to do that when she was little!

by the way, did you guys know that this time next year WE WILL BE IN DISNEY WORLD?????? :woohoo:

Great pictures of the pool. Looks so much fun. We had a great time at Disney on Ice last night. It is put together nicely.

I think you were reading my mind, because I saw that had posted somewhere just a couple of days ago and thought to myself that we hadn't seen you over here in a while. I always worry that either something is wrong with our missing DIS friends or that we have said something that made them leave our group. I just told Jill that we haven't heard from Momof2TNboys in a while. Some people are on the DIS mostly just sround their trips, and then they fade out until close to their next trip, which is fine, but I always do wonder when people aren't around either temporarily or permanently. I want to PM and check on them, but I don't want to be intrusive.

Anyway, glad you're back. :)

That figure was made for you. ::yes::

It will be so exciting to take Seth on his first trip and watch him take in everything.

Great pictures of the pool. Looks so much fun. We had a great time at Disney on Ice last night. It is put together nicely.

I know you guys had fun. We very much enjoy the Disney on Ice shows. Jill just picked up her tickets for the December show they are seeing in Huntsville.

Have you heard anything about Opry Mills? Something over that way is re-opening November 15th, so I am hoping the mall will be closely behind that. I enjoyed walking around window shopping near Christmas time.

***********************************

This morning, I'm sharing a few of the last pictures from our Atlanta trip and of the girls this weekend.

After our DIS meet and two Disney Store trips, the rest of our time was spent just hanging out at our hotel. I forgot to take the camera to the pool, so I have no pictures of that, but the girls loved it, of course. Bella has no fear of the water at all, which means we have to be extra, extra careful with her around water. Brooklynn loved have Bubby take her around in the deep water. I did get one phone picture of her flying into his arms as she jumped off from the kiddie section to the big section.

The hanging out included computer time, football, and I think Aladdin. That hotel had NO Disney Channel , so we got lucky when a Disney movie was playing on regular TV.

ATLHntsvlFall2010017.jpg

Playing games.

ATLHntsvlFall2010015.jpg

There was some 'excitement' in the building when some teenagers playing in the elevators got stuck and the firemen had to come.

ATLHntsvlFall2010016.jpg

We suspect it was the same teenagers that had been at the pool with us and had also been running up and down the halls earlier. I think they ended up with more fun than they bargained for.

We had breakfast together compliments of the hotel, and then Jarvis had to head back to go to work.

ATLHntsvlFall2010013.jpg

Soon after, it was time for the rest of us to say goodbye, too.

ATLHntsvlFall2010019.jpg

See you guys in October in Disney World!

Then this past Thursday after school, I headed to Alabama in order to go to the girls' school for a special Grandparent's Day activity. Grandparents were invited to come and browse the Book Fair and have snacks with their special little ones.

Booklynn outside her Pre-K building.

Bella about to have snack time.

ATLHntsvlFall2010022.jpg

Brooklynn enjoyed the books and the treats.

ATLHntsvlFall2010023.jpg

She ended up getting four of each.

I tried to get Bella to show me around her room,

ATLHntsvlFall2010025.jpg

but he she just wanted me to hold her.

ATLHntsvlFall2010026.jpg

Brooklynn and I went back to the house to spend the day together. Here she is with her new books.

ATLHntsvlFall2010027.jpg

I got a couple for my classroom, too, so two of those were mine. Care to guess which ones? The popsicles were Brooklynn's treat of choice when we stopped at the store on the way home. ;)

After Bella's nap at school, Jill brought her home, but she had to go back and work the Book Fair some more.

The girls and I and a few assorted stuffed animals went camping.

ATLHntsvlFall2010029.jpg

Along with the stuffed animals, a plastic horse, shark, and puppy dog joined us. It was quite the exciting camping trip. We ate our hot dogs and s'mores on Little Mermaid plates. :) It was a fun day with my sweet girls. :lovestruc

Brooklynn and Jill enjoying a bedtime story later that evening.

The pictures of Brooklynn and Bella are wonderful. I love the picture of Brooklynn and her books. I am glad you explained the Popsicle. I thought it was a book called Popsicle about ice age fun.
