Poor Brooklynn sounds like her and my DD have something in common , and that's having a lot of run ins with Mr. Boo Boo My DD will even tell you , I'm just a little bit clumsy lol

Glad you enjoyed the FB pictures.

Brooklynn does like to prance rather than walk sometimes, and I guess that makes for a better chance to tumble than does walking slowly. She's just a little girl full of energy. The cat undercutting her was just a case of both of them being in a hurry to get out the door!

What a beginning! I am glad you had a great trip. How do you survive on so little sleep? I can't wait to hear all about it.

I slept very soundly the second night.

I don't know if its just me but Brooklynn's owie kind of looked like a Hidden Mickey. I swear I thought I saw "ears". So sorry you all had an UNmagical start. The refurbished rooms look AMAZING!

The rooms were nice. It was good to have the coat hooks and the curtain in front of the bathroom. Jill set Bella's bed up behind the curtain, so when she went to sleep, it was dark and quiet and out of the way.

Ouch! Poor Brookie! At least she was able to shake it off fast.

I remember reading about your not so nice experience on ME.

I think you had to have been close to the room we were in at Pop. We were in the 80's building...room 9223.

You were just a few doors down. We had 18 and 19. Were you right at the corner? I liked the short walk to the bus stop.

Welcome home! So glad you all made it safely back. I read about your troubles through FB. It really puts a damper on things when they don't go smoothly on vacation. I think that is especially true at Disney b/c we all have such high expectations of magical things. It's too bad though that the driver was rude. Their job is one of the most important since they are the first CM you encounter on your trips. I know you guys didn't let it ruin the magic for you for long though!

Can't wait to read about the rest of the trip. It was fun following along in "real time"! And I was so glad to hear that you had lots of precious, glorious clouds! What a life saver! And glad you had some time with Trent! Should be a fun read as always!

It didn't get us down. We were happy to be there, the room was fine, and we went on to bed.

It was just a minor setback. Not ideal, but at least the plane did show up and the silent bus driver did get us to Pop.

Last weekend we had a cookout and Josh had a little pool set up for Kazin since it was about 100 degrees(I don't think it's been that hot here in his life). He had a bucket and he kept filling it, dumping the water on himself, and then putting the empty bucket on his head Jeremy called a few days ago and he said they're coming down this weekend I can't wait to see them

Welcome home everyone... I am happy to say that I am all caught up with the first 38 pages... now I have to back track to your other trip...

It was so nice seeing you guys again. You have such a beautiful family. Bella was grinning from ear to ear the entire time.

I wound up going to Universal on 4th of July to check out harry potter... there was hardely a line at all.. . i think we may have waiting 30 minutes at most all day... Thank goodness b/c it could have been a disaster.

Cannot wait to hear about the rest of your trip!!

Great start!!! My Mum was looking over my shoulder when I was reading earlier today and she said Brooklynn and Bella looked SO gorgeous in their Disney night-dresses. She got really excited about buying her grandchild, Katie who will be 6yrs, a Disney sleeping outfit for next year!

Welcome home to all of you! I loved "following" you all around the World on the FB updates by Jill. Great pictures and updates. I almost felt like I was there with you. Looking forward to hearing more about all the DISmeets and fun times you had. The refurbished rooms look nice. I love walking into POP for the first time each trip. Looking forward to that in December.

We did have so many good DIS meets, and we have yet to meet anyone any less than fabulous!

Whoa! I am overwhelmed by this Pop refurbishment that I only vaguely remember hearing about but obviously forgot because... whoa! Are they doing this to every room? I am surprised. The carpet is cool looking. But I will miss the old bedspreads. Not that they were particularly gorgeous, or anything, but you know... they were POP. Oh well.

And, oh gosh what adorable little kids. Bella is so funny running around the airport with her little suitcase! Too cute. Sorry Brooklynn had a fall but i'm sure she forgot about it soon enough

Yes, she forgot about it quickly and was able to romp around at the airport playground just fine.

All of Pop is being overhauled. They went from 90's down, from what I have gathered. I think they are somewhere in the 60's. Poolrat had a 60's room that has not been worked on yet.

The pictures of the girls in there matching pj's are too cute! Sorry it took so long for you guys to finally get to Pop. Can't wait to read the rest.

Oh bummer! I was hoping they were starting to put real comforters on all the beds now...CSR has real ones, they are great!

Yeah, I don't think I'll ever be right. We even broke down and talked about an EV for the future. I saw a young man on a pretty small one. I would like that, since it didn't seem so big and invasive on other people's space. I'll be looking further into that for next summer's trip.

The rooms did feel new and clean, so that was nice. We did miss the nice big hutch, but we'll get used to it. John said something about the TV being good, but I don't know one TV from another, so that change didn't matter to me at all. I like the old hutches, though.

I went back to the room and told Jill how nice you guys were. She really hated that she missed that meet, but we will cross paths again. Listening to your articulate, sweet, big girl was a highlight of the trip for me. What a great kid she is to be able to talk to a complete stranger like that!

I hope you survive through all of your wedding planning. Sounds like it is gonna be a really big deal! You'llhave to share pictures with us, of course. You sure do have some attendants to be getting Disney World gifts as their tokens of appreciation!

I'm glad Harry Potter was a good experience. That is two good reports Ihave heard now, so maybe they were able to work out the kinks in the first few days.

the ball of my left foot feels liked it is bruised all the time.

Let me know if you find out what this is, I have the same exact thing!! I've been wearing Teva mush sandals a lot and it seems to help, also some Earth sandals. If I wear anything with a hard sole it really starts hurting after a while! I can't imagine how bad your feet hurt after 10 days!! I can't take more than 2 or 3!

I just love it that Brooklynn wanted you to scold the cat! I'm sure she did take that all in and it helped the pain quite a bit!

Do you happen to know which sections of POP have been refurbed? My brother is going next month and I should pass on that info in case they want to make a request.
