Great update
I always enjoy your morning walk pictures , soo pretty !
Good to see that they are already working on the new value hotel

the shopping pictures a always ! Saw a 2010 snowgoble that would be a great gift for our nieces ( they just informed me on there recent visit that they are collecting them ) lol. Really liked the t-shirt and the ones you purchased sound great , did you take any pictures of the ones u bought ? Would love to see them
Sorry it's not gonna be fun the next couple of days at school Can't wait to see more shopping pictures when you get done, that always cheers one up after a not so fun week ! lol
We look forward to staying at the new place. Brooklynn will love the themes!
I will take a picture of all of my souvenirs - maybe today. Jill took pictures of hers already, but hasn't put them up yet.
These seminars are just a reminder that school is still out there waiting for me in a few more weeks. I can't complain, though, because I had almost all of June free. it was nice.
Great update, MeMom! I love those retro style shirts.
I saw a lot of people wearing them during the trip. Some couples/families would have all the same color, and then I saw one family where they all had one but in a different color.
I'm so happy to see some work being done on the new resort. I had a guy in my office last month that was the project manager for the jukebox and the rubics cubes when they were building Pop. I was amazed to find they were built by a company across the Mississippi from Baton Rouge. He doesn't work there anymore but still knows people I'm hoping to find out if they will be building anything for the new resort.
Love the early morning pictures. Everything looks so fresh and new. And of course the shopping pictures! I would love to get my hands on some of the stuff.
I'd like the job of decorting the inside of those rooms.
I like that Pop opens the gift shop and food court at 6. You can shop without a crowd and get pictures without people in the background.
Thanks for starting my day with Disney shopping. Pop Century has the best gift shop of all the resorts. Plus I love that they open so early, and stay open late.
It is great they have started on the new value, but I wished they had stayed with the generational theme. It would have bee fun to see what they came up with in the 10's-40's, but I am sure families will enjoy the animation theme.
Yep - 6 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. was the official listed time.
Since they are gearing this one more toward the younger set, maybe they'll do a moderate someday with a more grown-up theme. I know Brooklynn is going to be nuts about the new resort!
The photos of the flowers are making me sweat with all that humidity building up.
I love seeing the new construction across the lake. I think the new resort sounds AMAZING!
Thanks for the shopping pictures! the boys and I enjoyed them inmensely! Doug was picking out the many things he'd like to get. He also informed me that he thinks going in 2010 is a great idea. I told him that his daddy and I would have to think about whether 2010 or 2011 would work better for us.
It makes me smile to think of you guys looking at the pictures together.
What about 2010
and 2011?
i can't wait to see him on the shelf in seth's room!!! thanks again for doing this for me. i really appreciate it.
love these!
have as much fun as humanly possible at your workshops today and tomorrow!
Well, he's in your mom's hands now, along with the bib.

I look forward to seeing him on Seth's shelf, too.
The workshops are the next two days. I am glad I was able to have Sunday at home with the girls until they left, yesterday filled with housework and camp stuff, and today filled with the same before I had to dip back into school stuff. I'll tough it out through these two days because they are an exchange for two days in October to go along with our fall break. They give us W-Th-F, but if we also want M-T we have to go to these summer days. I plan to be in Disney World on that M-T, so I will remind myself of that!
I got that very shirt from this very display!
We enjoyed our walk around POP...such a fun place! My kids are begging to stay there now!
I almost got the purple one for my friend, but I texted her and gave her the color choices, and she picked pink.
Pop is a fine place. Maybe you could stay a couple of days before moving on to OKW or wherever.
MeMom it was me who asked for First Trip tee-shirts!!! I am so thankful you remembered, especially on your first morning!!! Yay! Thank you SO much!!!
I love it and its blue for Toby!!! He will be 2yrs when we go so fingers crossed they are still selling them and a 2T fits him!!!
Yay! Thank you again so very much!

I'm sure they will still have plenty of first trip shirts. I have always seen them on our previous trips. There may be different versions through the years.
I took a picture of the girls' shirt later in the trip, too.
Love, Love, LOVE the shopping pictures. I really needed to see those, this morning has been less than fantastic.
Sorry about the start of your day. Put some Disney fun in it and brighten it up.
I love the shopping pictures!! I am just thinking that I was getting up to go to work that morning and getting ready to fly to Orlando. I want to go back so bad!!!! I finally broke down and told Jason that we had to have a tripped planned. So, we decided to go for the boys' birthdays in February (one is the 11th and one is Valentine's day). Cooper is excited. He wants a Pirate Cake and I am thinking if they still do the Pirates and Pals cruise that I will do that also. Keep the pics coming. I unfortunately did not find my monorail shirt when I was there so I guess I will be ordering it.
I saw two different monorail shirts this time. One is tighter fitting and made out of a lighter material, and the other is just a regular t-shirt.
The Pirate cruise would be awesome!
I'm so glad you are getting to go back!!!
I will be sick when the day comes that we have no trip in the works.
Anybody who is familiar with the Atlanta and south of Atlanta area - we are seeking your ideas for a place to stay and things to do. We are hoping to meet Trent near his birthday week for some family time. Since he'll be traveling more miles, we'd like to go south of Atlanta to make it easier on him. We want a safe, family-friendly place outside of the city in some small town. We plan to go to the zoo and would like to go to a mall with a Disney Store, if possible. I have PMed a few of you, but there may be others who have some insight, too, and we'll take it all.
