I think many of us know exactly what you are talking about, and I think we all probably grinned when we read that. :)

Confession of a grown-up tie-dyed cheesecake eater: I look over them for the prettier ones for photographic purposes. :upsidedow Does anyone else do the same?

I do look them over but I am always too shy to request a specific one. The last one I got had a lot of red velvet and therefore less cheesecake but still as yummy.

As for the other, I was well warned by the DIS. :upsidedow
All that food coloring has to go somewhere I guess :scared:

Oh. We would love to have you in Atlanta, but you and your aquatic buddy could always plan a girls' Nashville trip, too, in the future. :rolleyes1 Once Opry Mills opens back up, we'll have a place to 'host' a meet. :thumbsup2

Sounds like a great idea!:thumbsup2

Ditto!

I have a question for Jill or MeMom, or anyone with a small child actually. Carter is 3 and has been potty trained for several months now, but I'm worried all the stimulation of Disney World might cause accidents so I told my daughter she might want to bring some pull ups along. She totally shot down the idea and thinks it won't be a problem, but I would hate to leave the parks to go back to the resort to clean up if it should happen. I just wondered what your experience was when Brooklyn was younger.

Terri

My son decided it was time to potty train about one week before we left on our last Disney trip. I had him in undies all day at the parks and pull-ups at night for bed. We just took him to the bathroom every hour or two. We had 4 adults and two kids and so some adult was always having to go. We never had an accident in the park. Liam liked to pee on the small potty rather than on the toilet, so I did bring that with us for the hotel room.

Also, I don't know if she has older children, but many kids have issues with toilets that have the automatic flushers. To help keep the toilet from flushing while they are going grab a piece of TP and lay it over the sensor on the toilet. When the child is done, put the piece in the toilet and it'll flush! This will save a lot of bathroom nervous breakdowns!

Okay, we'll plan a future Hippo Meet when our hippo is back in his rightful spot in the Rainforest river. :cool1:

Brooklynn does not like the turbo toilets, either. She doesn't break down, but she is very wary the whole time she is in there.

Yes the scary flushing toilets! My dd is deathly afraid. I make cover the eye of the toilet with a post it note...or a spit wad of toilet paper.

I also bring a foldable potty seat. Like the others said just take them often and bring and extra set of clothes (I put them in a ziploc bag)...you should be good!

On a related note we were in Minnie's House a couple years ago when DD was potty training. As usual the kitchen was busy with all the kiddos turning the knobs etc. DD was waiting behind a little girl to play with the oven. All of a sudden a puddle appeared and the girl started calling for her mom. I flagged her mom over and told her about the accident. She went running out of the house with a lots of kids trying to find a CM to get it cleaned up. Poor Mama!

We didn't have any problems with Brooklynn. She was actually potty training when we went for Thanksgiving in 2008. She was in a diaper and we just made regular bathroom stops and she did awesome. By our trip in summer of 2009 she was fully potty trained and had absolutely no issues. I would say through an extra pair of underwear and shorts in the park bag just in case, but as long as you make it a point to take a bathroom break every few hours he should be fine.

Thanks for the information. I think we'll take the extra underwear and shorts and hope for the best. He hasn't had an accident in months now, hopefully I'm worrying about nothing, sure wouldn't be the first time!

I wouldn't have thought of that, but it could be an issue, I'd hate for Carter to become scared of toilets! Thanks for the tip!

Hey MeMom and Jill! Sorry I haven't been around much...i don't know if you've read on mine and Tink's TR but my laptop is broken and currently in the shop so TR time has been short! I'm still here and just got all caught up though :thumbsup2

Love the PP pictures, Jill!

Fabulous PP pictures! They did such a great job of getting both poised and candid shots. Love the close ups.

I love both of these pictures. In the first, you can see how much Jill and Brooklynn love each other and how excited everyone is for the special meal.

In the second, you can really see how the characters go out of their way to make sure everyone has a special moment!

Beautiful Photopass pictures Jill !

My fav's are the black & white one of u and Brooklynn & The close-up of Brooklynn & Princess Belle :goodvibes

Can't wait to see more popcorn::popcorn::popcorn::
