She seems to have done very well.

yay!!! :woohoo: go brooklynn!

It is one of my favorite rides, too, so I don't blame her.

i love this ride, too, especially at night. by no means is it the most thrilling rollercoaster i've ridden, but i think it's just the "wildest ride in the wilderness" part that makes me happy!

This belongs to Seth.

:goodvibes thank you for getting this for me!!! it's the cutest bib ever!

so does the mall of georgia but i don't think that's convenient for anyone but me!

Mall of Ga is great for me too. I will drive to where ever...I am just so excited at the thought of finally meeting you all. :thumbsup2 I do think the Mall of Ga, NorthPoint and Town Center stores are regular stores (with the newer merchandise) and the Discover Mills store is more like an outlet store.

Food Court sounds great.

Everyone can get the kind of food they want, we won't have to wait for service, pay tips, etc. Sounds simple and cheap. :)

Any of the malls are fine with me. Food court sounds great too. I'm easy going and whatever everyone decides will work for me. I'm excited about the meet and getting to see my "imaginary friends" again.

Are you bringing your kids? I think Jackie was planning to bring Connor. They would probably enjoy meeting each other. Maybe Connor can convince them that we are real!

Food court works for us! :thumbsup2

Is there one of the malls that has the food court and play area right next to each other? That could be a good thing.

Can't wait to see Seth in that bib. It'll come in handy for when he's doing all the drooling that comes with teething. :thumbsup2

As for which mall, you guys who know them can vote. If there is one that has a good Disney Store and a food court/play area combo, that would be good for all the kids. If not, we'll go for whatever mall has the best stuff after we leave the Disney Store, such as other fun things for Brooklynn and Bella. Or even something fun for our whole family to do after we leave you guys, as we'll just be going back to a hotel.

We're glad you just happened to stop back by when this meet was formulating. We're looking forward to meeting you, too. Will you be bringing either of your kids?

I wish I were closer and could join you all for the meet! I look forward to the pics. :goodvibes

We are looking so forward to this, Brook! It gives us something fun to look forward to as we wait for the October trip.
It just sort of happened on the spur of the moment.
Jill and I were talking one day and
she said she needed October to hurry up and get here.
I said we should make another run to Memphis to go to the Disney Store,
she said what about Atlanta,
I thought that was great and maybe Trent could come,
and then it just took off.

I am not glad Jill had had a rough day, but I am glad this meet came out of it. :goodvibes

Thank you! :goodvibes I am so excited. At this moment, my children will be coming also....unless they get a better offer :). My DS just turned 16 so who knows. I have already told them about it - they are looking forward to it. My DH will be coming too.

the mall of georgia is the one i frequent so it's the only one i really know a whole lot about. there's a merry-go-round in the food court, a general play area at one end of the mall, fountains that the kids play in just outside the food court and they usually have one of those jumpy things set up near the fountains. here's a picture that anna posted on facebook just the other day of her and luke near the fountains:

it's one of those where you can run through and not get really wet. but of course some people bring their kids' swimsuits and let them go crazy, too.

and of course there's a disney store. as far as the food court goes, i know there's chick-fil-a, mcdonald's, sbarro, dairy queen, orange julius and your standard array of chinese/japanese/greek stuff.

now that i've said all that, PLEASE don't base your decision on me!!!! like i said, i will have to play this by ear and see how i'm feeling. and of course if seth decides to make an early appearance that may determine everything for me! but i will say that this mall is 20 minutes from my house, so even if i'm not feeling too much like going anywhere, i can probably make this drive. not sure how far it is for everyone else though. so you guys be totally honest about where you wanna go....you're not gonna hurt my feelings!

So glad you are helping the little ones develop a love for Disney things. Hopefully you guys can have many trips together in the years ahead.

Kid jabber is funny. Bella says 'Laadle, laadle, laadle' sometimes. Who know what that means?

Enjoy the rest of your family time before school gets going again. :)

Well, we did have a health scare with my grandma last week. We took her to the hospital on Thursday and they said she may have had a mini stroke and they kept her over night for observation and tests. Everything seemed fine and they released her on Friday. She's fine now but she's gonna have a follow up appointment with her doctor after we get home just in case. She thinks nothing happened and she just fell asleep. She felt fine and she's very stubborn and thinks we made a big deal over nothing so she's kind of mad at us for taking her to the hospital  And of course on the way to the hospital our car broke down. But it was fixed in less than 24 hours. It was just the battery. Anyway, other than those two days, everything's been fine. My great-aunt Madelyn is here now and staying in my grandma's cabin.

I don't have time to catch up on the rest of the report at the moment, but I'll do that when we get home on Saturday!

Very good. Which was the hardest one for you?

The balloon guy did pose for me. I know that's a hot job just to stand out on Main Street selling balloons all day, and it probably doesn't pay much, but I appreciate the fact that he seemed happy to be there. :goodvibes

I'm not sure I have at least one wrong for each letter so I'd say there was at least a stumper for each letter .

Me too :thumbsup2

I am planning on bringing the boys. I know they will have fun with all the other DIS children.

I'm back from my lazy beach time and have gotten all caught up!

The alphabet game was neat and I did so-so. I didn't write my answers down though so I'm not sure exactly how I did. The ones I found the hardest were the ones with just the letter and no other part of the sign as a point of reference. When you do the sign game, I'll be in the elementary version, I'm sure!

Great MK pictures! That's so great that Brooklyn rode BTMRR and loved it. Ellie rode it spring break and was scared but now that she's ridden RNRC I hope she'll give it another try. We'll see!

I've spent time yesterday and today in my classroom. We report officially on Thursday for staff development. Ick! Double ick is that I have my principal's daughter in my class.:scared1::eek::scared1::eek:

You've almost got two full weeks of school behind you!:thumbsup2

It will be great to meet all of you. Depending on the moods of the teen/tweenagers, they will either get along famously or be too afraid to speak a word to each other.

If you have Seth, we're just coming to hang out in the delivery room.
I'm sure they won't mind a couple dozen extra guests. :dance3:

A broken down car is no fun, but it keeps us humbled. We are then more thankful for all the days that we don't have car trouble. :)

I am glad you stuck with it. :thumbsup2

We should get some really fun pictures.
I wish everyone on the report could be there!

Yep, and on Day Three we started.....

TESTING! :dance3:

Two whole days to get the kids into a 'routine' :rotfl:, and then they are supposed to sit at their desks quietly for three weeks while we pull them back one at a time for individual testing.

I just love it.

Or I don't.

They must think you're a great teacher or this never would have happened!!

I agree. The principal knows a great teacher. :goodvibes

Hannah's first 2 days were wonderful! Her teacher gave each kiddo a goodie bag on the first day and a little teddy bear. So Hannah thinks she is wonderful! ;) I agree, I really liked her which is why she is going to school where she is!

Food court works for us! :thumbsup2

Hey, I love the food court food!! lol!! Oh, and Hollie does too! :goodvibes

Everyone can get the kind of food they want, we won't have to wait for service, pay tips, etc. Sounds simple and cheap. :)

Are you bringing your kids? I think Jackie was planning to bring Connor. They would probably enjoy meeting each other. Maybe Connor can convince them that we are real!

You know I will have Hollie and Hannah both with me, and possibly Chad. I told him if Trent was there, he needed to be there too! lol!

Hollie is already excited about meeting Miss Brooklyn! :goodvibes

Thanks.:goodvibes I do know it was a compliment that he put her in my class. I hope I can live up to his expectations. I just fear that he will nitpick everything I do. He's very controlling as a boss. So, I'm very cautious and nervous.

That's crazy that you start testing so soon MeMom. We give our kids a solid 9 days before we start.:sad2:
