Disney has a potato head part for everything. I have never shopped in that gift shop before.
I keep looking. I am going to purchase one of these days.
Another amazing update!! Love the pictures of the pieces for the Mr./Mrs. Potato Heads I am so going to get some of those someday LOL! I will cave and get it LOL!!
Those stuffed animals are just so adorable!! They look totally huggable!!
I really want some Potato Head parts - it's just that darn money factor.
All caught up...whew I missed a lot!
What a fun Atlanta Dis meet.... I would have devoured a cupcake, brownie and those cookies looked so yummy! (I'm going to have to search for that pan)
I looked to see how far St. Louis is from me. 18 hrs ... just a tad too far for me to do in a weekend. Maybe I could get my boss to fly me there in his plane....
Funny that
Wig'd was searching for the 3 peas too.
We searched the whole trip.....2 Disney Stores and all through WDW and we never came across a single pea. The prices on Ebay are just ridiculous?
I really enjoyed catching up with all the shopping pics.
I took alot of them myself on this trip.
I wish I could have gotten all of the things that I saw but there's always next time.
Very cool that you have become DIS celeb's and are getting recognized.
Thanks for putting up the Potato Head pics.
Lexi had a blast picking out all of the pieces. We got a lot.
I was the packer and I had fun trying to jam as many things into the box and container as I could. I did pay extra for Dumbo.
I was pleased and the CM said I did a good job. She even allowed the Mary Poppins umbrella to be sticking outside the box.
We were disapointed that we didn't see the little pumpkin pail. Is there any way you could pick one up for me and I can pay you for it?
I'm so jealous of your empty queue at the Fairies.
I'm embarassed to say I didn't make it there til the afternoon and we waited over a hour .... (I did know better.

)
Princesses only took about 20 mins.
We never did see Tiana & Prince Naveen. We tried 3 times and the line was always full. The last try we got there extra early and made it into the "holding pen" only to be told she wasn't coming out because of weather.
Have a good night all!
So glad to have you back in our conversations. I want to see your pictures!
The Princesses line is not as long/popular as it used to be now that the Fairies are there.
Sorry you didn't get to see main man.
Personally, I am always peppier in Disney World!
I think I have an extra lilt in my hobble when I am in Disney World, too.
Just wanted to say "Hi!" and introduce myself. I have been reading your trip reports for a while and am finally caught up in real time! LOL! I am also from TN (Northeast) and love reading about all of your Disney adventures. My DH and I have always loved Disney and have passed that on to our 4 kiddos quite successfully. Hopefully I can stay caught up and be more than just a lurker here on the DIS. I am reading CP's reports now as we are going in Oct. as well, and are finally getting to stay at AKL during F&W. I would love to be a part of a real life DIS meet one day. The Atlanta meet looked like so much fun!
Make yourself at home with all of us. We have a fun group of good DIS people.
We do hope to make it to Dollywood one of these days. We've talked about it for 2-3 years now, but when we have an extra dime, we seem to go south.
Love the empty Toon Town photos! I'm going to miss this area. It makes you feel more like a cartoon too.
Thanks for sharing the potato head parts. We didn't get a box of parts this trip.
I'm excited to see Mickey's house with the big jack-o-lantern out front soon!
Happy Wednesday, friends!
Hope everyone is having a great day so far; it's gloomy & rainy in Iowa but that's OK.
Katie
It's been hot again here in the daytimes, but the nights are cooling down. Changes are in process.
I'm back MeMom!! I have a ton of reading to do to see what your awesome family has been up to on this TR. I've read the last ten pages so far and it looks like everyone is having lots of fun. You've posted wonderful photos!
I've had a lot going on IRL and for quite awhile, was struggling with the girls' trip I booked with friends. I guess I have a really hard time doing things for myself and was beating myself up about being down there without my kiddos. I did decide to go but still have some mom guilt. I hope it passes!
Okay, going to spend my day catching up around the Dis. I missed all of you a ton!!!
You will have fun!

No guilt allowed. Do grown-up things, relax, and bring them back some cool gifts. It will be a different kind of trip, but just know that going in and plan to do things that you wouldn't do with the kids. It will be a treat to yourself.
Hey MwMom, Jill and gang. Just popping in for a minute. I have been really busy. Ty having his tubes in. My friend who I grew up with lost his 22 yr old son in a car accident this weekend. The grandparents are my neighbors so I have been busy doing what i can to help them. Ty got an all clear on his ears, so now it's crunch time. Why u Ask?
Because we have 9 days until we leave for DISNEY. I am totally not ready. So I have lots to do.
Anyway, I have been checking in on the report. Way to open Toon Town Brooklynn. I also cracked up at the video when Brooklynn tries to keep Bella in place by putting her hand on her head.

I hope we have half as much fun as y'all do on your family trips.
Gotta run Sarah's birthday is tomorrow. Hard to believe she will be 25. All grown up and a RN now. Still don't know if she'll get to make the trip with us. I hope so. I'll feel like something is missing, since the rest of the family is going.
Everyone have a great day!
I am really sorry to hear that about your friends. We had a bad situation here the first full day of school. A boy swerved to miss a paint can, so I've heard, but he was going too fast and wrecked. It killed his passenger, which was his brother. They were the grandsons of Richard Sterban of the Oak Ridge Boys. Such a sad, tragic thing to have to live with.
Your fun time is almost here. Don't stress about the little things, and you will be fine.
Half of my problem is that I can't decide which one I do like best.
I loved the dalmation and simba ones the most though I think.
I kind of like Tigger and the Dalmation ones the best.
Memom -
Yes - I want to do Splash and Thunder, too. Abby did Splash for the first time last year. She is back and forth if she wants to do again and I am hoping she will want to try Thunder. If not, I am going solo
Tell her Brooklynn did it a bunch of times. Maybe let her buy a BTM pin after she's ridden.
How cool that Brooklynn got to open toontown! Love the fairy pictures. Can't believe the crowds were so light on the 4th.
They didn't stay light long, but we only needed the morning, so we were just fine with that.
I was a bit behind...
I read about that with Mickey! I don't like it.
But then I just read too that they have gotten so many negative reviews that Mickey is back to roaming.
So who knows!
I think Henry would very much love the Cars section of the resort!!! Especially after Cars 2 comes out and he gets way back into it again.
That is so funny!
So stinkin' cute!!! I can't believe how big he's gotten!
Love the video of Brooklynn opening Toontown! How fun. She's gotten to do it quite a few times now, right? You guys are pros.
And the hair! Oh too funny. She knows the routine, where to go and how fast to walk-doesn't she?!
These 2 shirts are adorable!
I heard they changed Mickey back to roaming, too. That was quick!
Henry will love the Cars section, don't ya know?!?!?
Brooklynn knows the routine pretty well. We'll see what she thinks about all the changes as they progress. She didn't like them putting a wall over our secret place.
How great that Brooklynn got to open up ToonTown!
She enjoyed it, and it made for nice pictures and video. Little things like that add fun to a trip.
I loveee the Cars onesie and little girls shirts. Chris and I always have a huge problem not buying his niece and nephew all the cute kids clothes!
It is fun to buy for little ones. We had a baby shower at school yesterday, and of course I represented Mickey with a couple of cute Disney onesies and some Disney baby wipes.
Senior year =
I've been so busy it's ridiculous. But...
I FINALLY FIGURED OUT MY SENIOR PROJECT!
I'm volunteering at a local animal shelter. I'm not entirely sure about my paper yet, but up until today I didn't have a mentor and I need to have one by Tuesday. So I've calmed down
And I just babysat Kazin
That will be an interesting experience. Do you think you'd like to do the Disney College Program someday?
I thunk I did.
I love the visit with the steps. I can't believe Bella let Drizzella touch her.
It looks like y'all were swimming up stream when you were trying to head out of the park.
Once again lovely shopping photos! So many things to buy.
So many, many things to buy. My camera helps me be satisfied with pictures of those things, thankfully.
Bella didn't really back off of them like she does some characters. Of course, as usual - she didn't want to gather in for a picture.
I love how Brooklynn is laughing at Bella, aww!
I love watching Brooklynn's expressions. She is a special big sister.
The girls did very well with the steps! Actually the steps were pretty nice to the girls!
It was fun shopping with you this evening and I had no idea what the names were of the two cast members or where they were from!
I thought for sure you knew them by name, as much as you are there.
I am pretty sure they all know you and Shocker.
Great interaction with the steps!!! They are always so funny!
The Magic Kingdom was looking a bit more crowded as you left!
Love your pictures of the Mary Blair mural!
Chef Mickey's on the Fourth? How fun!
It was fun to do Chef Mickey's on the Fourth. We have also done it for Thanksgiving dinner. I'm shooting for Christmas Day in a couple more years.
