I have gone back and found the schedule for this trip and I'm reposting it.
And by the way, Accuweather is having lots of fun at our expense. Yesterday their forecast for the first 4 days we are going to be there said ;
some rain, highs 64, lows 42
These are the days we can't even go to parks, planned on spending a lot of pool time then.
Yeah right, in a wet suit!
Then Smidgy checks today;
Highs 78, lows 60, rain possible only one of the days.
What, is a comet expected to hit Orlando at that time?
I think Accuweather needs to stand a little closer to the dart board when they make their forecasts.
Here's what I copied from earlier:
Now, of course because of free dining, our schedule is pretty much set in stone once we get into that phase of the trip, but the first four days are, basically,
We won't get our park tickets until Thursday when our package starts, which also means no free meals before then too, so it's all going to depend on the weather those first four days.
We still have 8 water park tickets each, but the weather will have to be really unseasonably warm to waste one of them in December, but if it is it would work out just great.
We also plan to visit other resorts and look at their decorations, this is a time consuming process when you don't have a car.
Then there is the Mini golf coupon you get ahead of time, we will probably actually use that for a change, never been to Winter Summerland.
Then on one of the days if there's nice weather I plan on going parasailing on Bay Lake.
Ok, made that last part up, just to see if you were paying attention.
Not having the car and the cooler we will probably rent a fridge, maybe buy some bread and baloney, and we also plan on going to the Hess station right across from Pleasure Island and picking up some beer.
On that day we will probably use the 15 buck coupon at Planet Hollywood that you get with your package, so we won't starve until free dining.
One thing we WON'T do those first four days is waste a water park and more ticket on Disney Quest, not gonna spend the equivalent of a 45 dollar ticket to play Q-Bert and Dig Dug for 4 hours, which is what we would probably end up doing.
Ok, so once thursday arrives and we won't know yet if we have to check out and check back into a different room, the schedule is thus:
Thursday night, dinner at Whispering Canyon, see decos at WL, maybe catch the fireworks from the boat.
Friday, Epcot, Emh, lunch at Teppanedo.
Sat, another resort day, dinner at Yachtsman Steakhouse, a first timer for us.
Sunday, the studios, emh and finally a chance to try some things there at nght, also see Ozzie's Lights and lunch at Mama Melrose, another first time restaurant for us.
Monday, Magic kingdom, no sit down meals, have lunch ressies for Tony's but will probably cancel them because this one puts us over the limit. We'll probably catch up on counter services meals here, or at least snack credits.
Oh, it's EMH here tonight too.
Tuesday, back to Epcot, lunch at Coral Reef.
Wednsday, Animal Kingdom, again, EMH, lunch at Yak and Yeti, another first timer for us.
Thursday,,,,,,,,,,,,Magical Depress time. Maybe a left over counter service in the morning at the food court. All the counter service and snack credits we fill in as needed.
It probably looks like we haven't eaten at too many sit down restaurants there, but not true, our last count is now 32 table service meals in Disney, these are just some we haven't yet tried.
And I can guarantee you, if we should ever live long enough to have tried them all, Akershus at Norway will still be the last one on the list.
Yes, we tried and tried to get Le Cellier, but no dice, we were way too late and I didn't want to waste two credits to book a Candlelight Processional package there.
Well, there you pretty much have it.
Yes, because of the frying, I mean flying issue and all the ressies it's driving me nuts not being able to tinker with this trip like I always do,,,,,,,,,,
Hmm, maybe it's still not too late to book a parasailing reservation after all.
More than likely, we will go to Downtown Disney Monday, the day after we arrive and go to the Hess for beer, see the Decos there and eat at Planet Hollywood with our voucher.
On Tuesday the 30th we plan to go to the Poly to watch the Holiday Wishes fireworks and the stupid Water Pageant. ( I like to see this about once every ten years and we just saw it in July so you do the math)
I'm guessing that Wednsday will be a day we finally use the Mini Golf voucher, but we always say that and never do so I'm not making book on it.
