From DLH and PP to park question

So from the PP it looks like you'd go through the GCH to get through to the parks, coming out through DD. Getting from DLH would you walk straight down through DD to get through to the parks? Looking on the map, it seems pretty easy to do that from DLH, but everyone seems to say it's so much closer/easier from PP. Thoughts?

Yeah, the Disneyland Hotel has a bit of a walk to the main entrance plaza. You can grab the Monorail just into Downtown Disney, but that delivers you right into Tomorrowland, so if you want to enter through Main Street USA you have to walk a ways.

Another thing you can always do - and most of the time this is feasible - is ask a door attendant to give you a ride to the entrance to the Grand Californian via golf cart. Having worked in this position I can tell you we always enjoy a golf cart ride

Yes you would walk straight through DTD to get to the park from DLH.

The differance between walking to the DLH and PPH is about 3 min. I have stayed at both, and have a slight disability, and in the end the few extra steps I had to take to stay at the DLH is worth it. I like PPH but much prefer DLH.

Honest, I really see no differance in the walk. And for me steps are a pretty big deal.

Got to agree that there is no practical difference in the walk time between PP and DLH when heading to the parks. We've done both.

From any of the hotels, go through the GCH to get into DCA. With the rerouted entry into DCA due to construction this is currently the quickest way into and out of DCA, to or from the hotels. When the construction is done later this Spring, it still a shorter option unless you are going the the Hollywood Backlot or Bugsland.

If you're taking a mid day break.....and if you're in DCA at noon or 1pm....(like i am because i park hop each day), then PP is a VERY short walk from Griz Rapids (thru the GCH) to the PP.

& a quick walk back into DCA thru the GCH after the break.
