From BCV to Polynesian...how to get there??

We are staying at BCV in November and want to go over to the Polynesian one evening for the Luau. How easy is this to do if you don't have a car? Is it best to have a car?

You can catch the bus from BCV to MK. Then either take the boat launch to the Poly or the monorail. On the day that you are going to the luau, if you have already been to one of the parks that day.
You might want to catch the monorail from Epcot to MK.

Depending on what show you are attending that night. You may want to check the time MK closes that evening. Perhaps someone else can help you out on this, but I believe the bus stops running 90 min. after the parks close.

Sounds complicated! How much would a taxi be? Or how easy to drive? I don't want this to be a 45 minute trip jsut to get there and then another long trip back!

The cab ride back is about $16 plus tip.

Renting a car will only cost us about $70 more than other options...I'm beginning to think that's our best bet. Is parking a problem going from resort to resort?
