Can anyone tell me other than a wheelchair van, what kind of transportation I can take to my resort. I live in New York and we have a service called Acess-A-Ride which takes you anywhere within city limits. Is there any such service in Orlando? Any advice would help.

If you are staying at a Disney owned-and-operated resort, you can use the free Disney's Magical Express bus. Just make sure they know you need one with a wheelchair lift.

You can call Mears Transportation. They have a fleet of wheel chair vehicles. 407-422-2222.

Yellow cab (which is owned by Mears, I believe) also has some wheelchair accessible vans.
The easiest way, if you are staying at a WDW resort, is Disney's Magiacl Express.

Thanks for the replies, I am staying at the Orange Lake Resorts, does anyone know if they provide services to the park

Orange Lake does provide transportation to the parks. It is with an independent and I am not sure if they have special equipped vehicles.
