Waitlist Strategy Question

I have a somewhat last minute trip coming up near the end of September. For this trip, I booked an AKV Kidani Savanna View Studio for 4 nights. I would really like to be near Epcot/the Skyliner for this trip so I waitlisted a BCV standard view studio and a BWV P/G view studio (assuming this one has the better chance of filling). My dilemma is that the BWV studio is currently available for the last 2 nights of my trip, but I really don't want to do a split stay if I don't have to. I don't have enough points to hold 2 reservations or I would grab those 2 nights for now. Do you think I should leave it as it is or should I modify my current reservation to 2 nights and grab those 2 that are available, taking the chance that I may have to move resorts? I guess it depends on what my chances really are for the waitlists to come through.

My dislike for split stays in general would encourage me to simply take my chances on the WL in its entirety. I had a 7-night WL for a BW view 1BR come through, although it was still within the owner priority window, so here’s hope the P/G view studio will come through for you.

If you really don't want to do a split, then leave it like it is would be my advice.

As we get closer to 30 days before checkin you might just see that waitlist match. Good luck!

Thanks! I guess I'll hang tight. I do love AKL and I haven't stayed in Kidani yet, only Jambo. So I'm not mad if I have to stay here, but it would be nice for the waitlist to come through. :)

Being that we are just two months out and you really don't want to risk the split stay, I would leave as is and hope for the best! Good luck!

Now all but the 1st night are available... Ugh I don't know what to do lol.
