Hi!

Ty Beth and Jamie. I was shocked. After Sunday's weigh in I was so not expecting a big loss. I was so excited!

So today I've been slack. Really slack. I'm a little scared to see the scale tomorrow. Good think I haven't changed the ticker yet. :rolleyes1 Honestly, it wasn't an intentional thing. I just got overwhelmed with stuff. Actually the diet has been good, aside from 1 1/2 draft ultras. I missed the workout, but it was a strength training, so I hope to make it up tomorrow. I made my exercise challenge this month regardless. :)

I still have classwork to do, so I'm off. :wave2:
 
I'm sure you didn't do too much damage yesterday. Congrats on the unofficial weigh-in! :thumbsup2 Before you know it you will be in the 160's! You always make up your workouts, so don't worry about it... :cool1:

Hey Amy and Jamie- You were right. Today there was no change on the scale and I did get my workouts in - 30 minutes cardio first thing in the am and 30 minutes strength training in the afternoon.

I have been having a craving for BBQ lately. Tonight we went to a wing place where they had a pulled pork BBQ sandwich on the menu. I ordered it. BUT I got a salad bar instead of sides (though I admit to eating a few fries) and I ate the sandwich without the top part of the bun. It was sooo good.

I have a ton of stuff to do, but I think I just decided I'm not doing any of it. I've been dragging all day long, even with the energy boost I should have gotten with the am workout. I'm going to through DSs lunch together and head for bed!

Great choiice with pulled pork and a salad. That's my type of meal righ there (with a few fries too) :thumbsup2
 
Sometimes you just need to do nothing but relax. Don't feel guilty about it! :goodvibes

You did great at the BBQ place. Those little changes make a big difference, and allow you to still have treats, but within reason. Way to go! :woohoo:

Heather -- Hi, sweetie! You are doing so great! How exciting it must have been for you to finally see the WHOOSH that you'd been working so hard for!

Good job on dinner -- just eliminating the top of the bun and not eating the sides or a whole order of fries saved you a TON of calories! AWESOME!

Hi everyone-

So today's weigh-in shows that I'm down 1 from last Sunday to 176, meaning 19 lbs total. I bounced around 176 - 175 all week, but I'm happy with today.

I've been so tired the last couple of days. I't been one thing after another and I need a break. I think tomorrow I'm keeping the kids here instead of doing any of our usual activities.

I had my interview yesterday. I think it went real well except for 1 or 2 minor things. My stomach was in knots all day yesterday because I'm so conflicted about the whole thing. I want the job badly, but I really don't want the job at all. UGH.

Hey Beth, Amy, and Cam! I remember thinking when I took my first bite of the BBQ "why am I eating this big bun? I don't even want the bread." Didn't miss it a bit.

I hope you get that job even though you are nervous about going back to work. It will all work out how it is supposed to. And if you for some reason do not get this job, it means there is an even better one out there that you were meant to have. ::yes::

I forgot to weigh in this am - first time in I don't even know how long. Oh well, no big loss.
Something came up today and totally messed up my workout routine. I was going to try to make up a workout from this weekend in addition to my regular workout. It just didn't happen. I'll have to double up on Wednesday I guess. I did get in 30 minutes of strength training.

It's sooo cold here and I was really hoping that we might get a little snow - just enough for the kids to see, but it looks like it's not going to happen. We get snow every other year or so it seems and we're due, but it's looking like next year. Oh well.

Hi Amy- I'm thinking the same thing about the job. If it's meant to happen it will. And yeah, I'm soo ready for that new clippie!!! I thought I would have it this week, but I can wait another one.

OK, time for bed. :wave2:
 
It is hard to stick to a routine when you have kids. Wait until they are older and you have one in soccer, tap and ballet and the other in piano lessons and baseball! :goodvibes

I hope your eating is still on track even though your workouts are a little messed up. :yay:
 
Hi-

So today I forgot to get on the scale again 1st thing, but I hopped on right after I got out of the shower. It showed a 1 lb loss from Sunday, and this is with wet hair.

I've been sitting here staring at the pc trying to convince myself to work on the taxes. I need to go ahead and file so we can get our refund but I can't get focused. So much stuff on my mind. We are going to Charleston this weekend so DH can attend a convention. I'm so looking forward to the break.

I haven't heard anything about the job yet. I know it's only been a few days, but they told me they were looking to fill it within a week or two.

Hey Amy- yeah having kids makes it that much harder to budget time. Right now I workout while DD naps. DS doesn't nap anymore but he does have quiet time, which gives me just long enough to workout and shower before DH comes home and I have to run off to teach somewhere.

The diet has been good. I'm going through a phase where I'm not hungry a lot. I'm sure it's temporary, lol.

Got in 30 minutes of cardio today.
 
You are doing great! I wish I had the problem of not being hungry... :rolleyes1

Sooo, on Thursday I woke up feeling a little under the weather and 2 lbs heavier. Bleh. Not sure if the two are related, or maybe this is PMS. Not sure. Anyway, we went to Charleston and ate entirely too much. I am UP 4 lbs from last Sunday. I did manage to actually use the workout room at the hotel, so that's good at least. It was nice to get away.

Nothing from the job yet, though I did get a call asking if I could be a long term sub for someone going on maternity leave. At least I'm on the radar.

Finally got the taxes filed. Really need that refund!!!

I have 2 more weeks to go before the class I'm taking is over. It would be nice to have time to devote to other things (like reading journals).

It's coooold here but no snow. Drat. Maybe next year.
 
I'm sure that weight will come off quickly. Travelling always wreaks havoc on your system! I hope you get that job you interviewed for! Here is some :wizard: and :tink: and pixiedust:

So I'm down 3 lbs from last week, but I'm still up 1 lb overall, with no official weight loss for this month. Grr. I have managed to log 465 minutes of exercise however. I keep believing that the weight will eventually drop.

Still no word on the job. I'm frustrated and a little depressed about the whole thing.

You'll get back into losing mode soon. Sometimes we get a little lax when we are losing and when we stall, we need to refocus and look at what we are doing. Usually I am sneaking little snacks in here and there, or my portion sizes have gotten too big. Check it out, you might be surprised at what you are really eating.

Don't get discouraged! :teeth:
