Froggy needs your prayers, pixie dust and everything else you can throw his way.

Prayers being said, and please take care of yourself also.

wishing Mr.Frogs well he is in my prayers... I am so sorry that your having to deal with this again.

May I ask if the ER cultured the abscess.. did they test the drainage? Did they start him on antibiotics? Is the infection in tissue or is it coming from the bone? sorry if this was asked and answered... I hope that the occular surgeon in Shrievport can help him right away.

It's scary how long an infection can linger in the eye before being noticed, and that's when the outcome is on the brinks of scary.

I hope he gets better.

Prayers for all the Frogs! Jules, please wish Froggy best of luck from all of us at his appt on Monday.

I remember the posts from years ago and am adding my positive thoughts and prayers.

In Arkansas we had a bill come around called insurance reform it was pushing that it would stop "frivolous" lawsuits. Which is good right? WRONG! It means that the insurance company (including car insurance) would only pay the amount of the policy. She had the least amount of insurance allowed by law which was 25,000 medical. That is what we received only problem was the first of 19 surgeries was over 27,000. SOOOO if your state pushes for insurance reform DON'T VOTE FOR IT!! The only way to get compensation is to sue the individual well a crack head ain't got no money! We get a 95 dollar check every month from a criminal judgement (which means we can't get an annuity loan) of 168,000 which means she will be paying me 95 for then next oh I can't count that high.

This is a VERY good point--when these bills come up everyone thinks it is the insurance companies that are behind them and it is not. This is not good for anyone involved. With this law, can you file under your own Uninsured/Underinsured coverage so you can get some more compensation? This is another example of why you want to carry as much insurance as you can on yourself and add an umbrella policy to add more :thumbsup2. I don't know if this was the case but if Froggy's Wife had been driving and Frog was hurt in this accident, they could make a claim against their umbrella policy to pay for his medical expenses--but not if he was driving--unless they have an umbrella with UM/UIM coverage (which is common).

DD16 just had an abscessed tooth and I saw the pain she was in, I can't IMAGINE how much more his pain is. Prayers for all involved. Did they give him oral antibiotics??

You two hang in there. Lots of us pulling for you.

 How are things this morning? Any sleep for you? How is Frog feeling?

Prayers and pixie dust coming your way!

No culture it showed up in his blood work though. Yes he is on bactrim twice a day 3200 mg. don't know about the question about the soft tissue or bone.
