For those of you who know us, you know about his horrible auto accident in 2003 when he was hit by a drunk driver. His right eyelids were scraped off and they never finished fixing them. After 2 years with no insurance at the time we ran out of money and the doctors didn't want to fool with it. Well He woke up this morning with the eye swelled up and god awefull nasty stuff draining out of it. We were in the E.R. from 9am till 7pm. Turns out he has an absest on the bone of his eye socket. We are to go to shreveport monday to an ocular surgeon and have it opened up and drain the gunk out. TMI I know! If he starts to running a constant high fever and starts throwing up I am to take him immediately to shreveport to the E.R. I am so afraid it is going to burst and go to his brain and man that can't be good!

Oh my....sending good thoughts your way. The accident was so long ago. I wonder why that happened NOW all of a sudden? Keep a good eye on him throughout the night!!

He has had a previous episode but nothing this bad. No sleep for me tonight for sure. And darn it I can't find the stupid thermometer! No telling where it is guess I will have to run and buy another one in the morning. Untill then I will have to rely on the mommy touch.

Oh no, so sorry after all you've been through already . Yeah we have been MIA on the DIS for the last year or so because of my strokes and moving and everything been just so busy haven't had time to do much of anything except doing status updates on FB.
