Can't find the original thread on this.

I thought I'd give it another try last night. It really is just pretty bad, isn't it?

We watched the first episode from DVR on Monday and really liked it. We were big X-Files fans and this felt a lot like that show did.

My DH really likes this show. I think it's pretty good just not my kind of show.

I thought the second episode was better than the first, but when they started talking about eating the pituitary glad, I couldn't help but recall the book "The Relic" (which was made into a HORRIBLE movie).

I will probably watch this series, but I may try The Mentalist next week, b/c that is the only other thing on in this time slot that I might watch. I am beyond not interested in Dancing with the Stars and Biggest Loser, and Privileged just sounds crappy.

My husband and I enjoyed it last night and I watched the first episode and like it too. We kind of like that strange stuff. . . ;)

I missed the first one although I did want to catch this show..
I only saw the first half of it last night, although it seemed kinda interesting..I couldnt totally get into it.. But..I'll try again.
I love Pacey :) LOL

I really liked the first two episodes! It seems like it's going to be one of my "can't miss" shows this year, along with Lost and Heroes. Of course, I was always glued to the TV for X-Files, as well, and the second episode of Fringe reminded me quite a bit of The X-Files.

I liked the Relic !! im a big fan of Preston & Child, I know the book was much better but the movie wasn't as bad as I expected :rotfl:

My thoughts exactly, and I think even dh agrees with us. That makes about three of us here. :rotfl:

I think the concept is good, and they storylines aren't too bad. They really need to do something about the "likeability" of the characters, though.

I really liked the book, and was hopeful for the movie, but I kind of thought the movie blew chunks. I felt the same way about Jurassic Park - LOVED the book, but the movie was pretty bad (except the CGI dinos). ;)

I watched the first episode and was disappointed. I had high hopes for it but it is too convoluted for my taste.

I must be easy to please, Jurassic Park is one of my favorite movies :rotfl:
