Friendship Day Special Beanie?

Two years ago my daughter and I stumbled across a special day at the Disney Store. On Friendship day they sold a special beanie. You had to be there early and line up to get a certificate entitling you to buy one. There were limited quantities. You didn't know what they were going to look like. When the store opened you had to line up and hand the cast member at the check-out desk the certificate and then pay for the beanie. I had to pay cash for my daughters as they wouldn't allow me to put it on my credit card as I had already bought one on my card and it was one beanie to a customer. The beanie was of Pooh and Piglet joined together with a heart in front. Does anyone know if there is going to be something similar this year?

I am not sure what their plans are this year. I am sure there will be one though just not when. There was one last year as well with Pooh and Roo with a Honey pot between them.. if you go to the link below you can see a pic of it about a quarter of the way down.

I stopped by the disney store today and for the most part they had no idea what I was talking about. One person said they would be mixed in with their normal shipment dates if they got them. They had no idea what was comming and told me I could phone and have the beanie put on hold for 24 hours so, I'm guessing this year you won't have to line up for it. If your into Winnie the Pooh they had some cute plush toys the size of beanies with Pooh dressed as a panda, corn, grape, chicken, etc.

Yep, Jonie is correct! I stopped by my Disney Store today too and there it was. Roo is holding a teddy bear. It's adorable.

The Tigger & Roo beannie is it. I believe it is $14, as I sold one to someone last night. no special tickets needed.

Went to the DS last night. No friendship beanies. They haven't come in yet. The CM's didn't know if we will need a certificate to get one but think they will just be put on the shelf. Our cost will probably be around $21.00. They told me to try next Wednesday as that is when they get their new shipment.

Ours actually came in on Pooh Friendship Day. Can't remember what day it was, but my daughters best friend had just moved, and she was really bummed out, watching the Pooh cartoons on Toon Disney when I left for work. I got to work, and there they were! Needless to say, I bought her one, and it made her day!
