I think I"m good on supplies, Garden Grocer called today to verify my order! yummy chocolate alligators will be fun for the kids!

As you already know, we bought boxes of those chocolate alligators! Now to keep them from melting!?

a yucky rainy day here....Megan has early dismissal at noon, so think we will get a jump start on some of her extra homework for her missing school time today.

re-thinking some of my packing so going to try and condense a little bit!

just checked weather.com and accuweather.....looking so much better than two days ago....minimal rain now!!!
only 2 more days

I do like the looks of it now. Low to mid 80's sounds wonderful. We are two days behind you and I am so excited to get going I can hardly stand it!

yup we are....did my repacking and squished things together enough that I got rid of one carry-on and my big suitcase weighes in at 47 lbs
just a couple last minute items that morning and we are good to go!

will give Judy and the gang BIG HUGS from you both!

We have a cooler we put aside for the chocolate. I need to figure out how to keep condensation from getting on the boxes. The chocolates are protected by a plastic cover, but the boxes could take a beating with condensation, and the chocolate could turn color going from temperature changes. They look perfect now. Wish I could eat one! (Of course, so do the kids.)

Glad Megan got a head start. That will help. I'm sure the weather forcast will still change a bit in the next couple days.

The humidity has still been brutal. Though 80's feel so much nicer than 90's!!

You did great!! I think I pack more than anyone and I'm there the least amount of nights. I really need to learn not to over pack. We are taking 2 cars so that Grumpy can head back earlier on Monday for school. I end up over packing both cars with neededless things I might need.

load of laundry - megan wore a shirt she wants to wear on the plane
run/empty dishwasher
empty fridge/pantry of things that will go bad
empty all the trashes

You're welcome! That was nice of you... I'd forgotten all about that. The last few weeks of that thread, I think I gave up though... it was just too much, and people kept changing their dates - it was crazy! Maybe that's normal???

I wasn't a part of the FB group. We ended up having to cancel that trip wayyyy early (like in Sept). So, I didn't participate in the FB group.
