CM rates for 2015 should be released in August. I was able to book Feb of 2014 last August.

Well I don't tech have a discount, here's my deal
I have a res for May 2015 in which I was told I am locked in rate wise
Once the military discount is extended, I'll call and add it
35% off if it stays as it has been

Soooo what I'm thinking is that the rate increase for 2015 will prob offset the extra 5% savings and in turn I should prob just keep the ressie I have now. That's assuming I couldn't just add the ff discount and would have to have the cm make the res for me, as I did in the past

Plus I found that the availability for ff discount wasn't as great so staying at a resort that might not be our first choice would come into play when looking at the savings too

My MIL CM is kind enough to accompany us on our upcoming trip Aug. 2 to 11. She was able to get 60% FF rate, but no discount on the regular dining plan because we are staying at AKL Club Level or we could get the discounted dining plan if we gave up our club level room. In years past we were able to get both a discount on the CL room and a discounted dining plan. Does this seem to be anyone else's experience?

Ah. You were told wrong if you booked direct. The rate you have is based off of the highest 2014 rates, so it will still fluctuate when they release 2015 prices.

It's just based on availability. Was club level specifically excluded in the offer? The offers and restrictions are constantly changing, so it's not surprising it could be different than previous years.

IMO, they've been really limiting the discounts for everyone, but particularly CMs.

That's what I thought, but when I asked they said no it's locked in and it says on my confirmation email the rate is guaranteed unless I make a change, which adding a discount code could be considered

The emails are just auto generated. They don't know you booked 2015 based off 2014 rates.

In a general sense, if you book a set rate it is locked unless you change. The difference is you didn't book a set rate. It's pretty common knowledge around here. I don't know why the CMs can't get on the same page, unfortunately.

Not sure if I'm in the right thread for this question, but couldn't find a more fitting place. A friend of ours booked us on a friends and family discount. She indicated that we wouldn't do any sort of online check in prior to our arrival. I wanted to find out if anyone knows if that's true or not as I'm hoping to make room requests during online check in. Any advice would be most appreciated

If you have the reservation number linked to MDE you can do online check in.

Our oldest daughter just got hired at WDW, in fact she just did her on boarding today (YAY). We are planning on going visit her October 14-21. Is there anyway to know what the F&F % off is for those dates & is there any discount off the dining plan? Is this something she can look up now or not until after her traditions class?

If she is set as employee she should had created an online user id and password.

The HUB doesn't show discounted dining plans. Right now that time is 40% off with no discount on the DDP.

Yes, up to 3 rooms.
