Back story: I had been putting off and putting off any sort of training for the marathon. My back has been bothering me for the last several months. In April I suddenly went from working part time to working 50-60 hours a week. I wasn't able to get to Curves with that work schedule and the last thing I wanted to do after work was exercise!
THEN, I gained back 10 pounds while in WDW in May and another 10 since then! I am so mad at myself!
Anyway, after my sister telling me she thinks I'll just be an observer and cheerer at the half-marathon, I decided I'd better get busy!! My back has been better, work has let up (now only working about 43-46 hours a week), so I decided it was now or never! I bought myself and my daughter bicycles so we could go riding together (although I found out I can't do that on a HOT day or I end up dizzy and sick and laying in someone's yard!
). I started back to Curves last week, have been TRYING to get back on WW, and have started using the treadmill at work. Then yesterday morning, while bending over in the shower, I broke a rib! YIKES!! Now I'm back to being barely able to walk slowly, nevermind walking on a treadmill, Curves, or bicycle-riding.
Oh well, at least I can try to start eating healthy again. That shouldn't hurt my rib!

Hope you mend quickly and can get back to your exercising before the weather turns cold on us!
