Apart from the free upgrade on our car, what other perks will we get for being frequent Virgins? Any tips are appreciated

Thanks

Hi kevin

We became frequent Virgins this time round

the perks we got were 10% off the price of the holiday and also some credit card style luggage labels a Ticket wallet and 4 t-shirts.

Were told that we would get a free upgrade on car hire and also if the hotel is a frequent Virgin hotel there is supposed to be other perks at the hotel too.

Cant think of anything else atm, if i do i'll edit me post :D

how do you become a frequent virgin we fly every year using virgin, would love a free car upgrade

Hi Debby,

You can apply online at http://www.frequent-virgin.co.uk/pages/facts/apply.shtml

With a bit of luck you can still do this before your next trip and get the car upgrade. You also get 10% off any theme park passes you buy via Virgin as well as 10% off their hugely expensive car insurance! (we use the NatWest policy so this isn't a real benefit for us).

I have noticed on occassions that the room allocated to us has been a little nicer than ones possibly given to standard bookings.
Also the upgrade on car hire is pretty good as is the 10% discount on total holiday cost including upgrades and excursions. I will point out that the FVC is for anyone who has been on or is booked to travel on their third holiday with Virgin Holidays and that to get the discounts you need to book direct and not through a Travel Agent - at least that is my understanding off it. We have now been on 5 holidays and booking direct is so easy either on the telephone or via the internet. If booking via the internet once booked just ring the FVC and they will amend the details to include the savings or register you if you are not already a member and also work out the savings.

Or - if you use Virgin Atlantic to fly with regularly, take out one of their Frequent Flyer loyalty cards. It's amazing how those points adsd up - I've already got enough for a free flight next year:D

FVC perks are good, but even if your hotel does not show in the Virgin brochure that they recognise FVC members, still show your card at reception, it's got us some additional bits and pieces over the years:cool:
