We normally fly SW, but we did not like their flight schedule at all and we were able to book Delta for early arrival and late departure for less $. I don't fly very much and DH's flights are usually roundtrip in one day, so no luggage to check. We will be checking luggage for our one week trip to Disney in June (23 days, :cheer2: ). Can we check in online at home and print boarding passes? If we can do that, how do we check our luggage? I want to try to avoid any lines. But, we have a 5:30 am flight, so hopefully there won't be any lines.

We have a rental car for Disney instead of using ME. For our return home, can we check in at our resort at the new ME stations to get boarding passes and check luggage or is that strictly for those utilizing ME? If we can't, any suggestions on where we can print boarding passes?

Thanks for the help!

I have no answer about ME but when we printed our Boarding Passes on line we still had to check our luggae either curbside or wait in the regular check in line so allow eough time to do that. The day we went, the curbside line was longer than in insde one so we waited in the inside check in line. We were able to print our boarding passes at our hotle desk (OKW) but that might not be available at all resorts. I am sure someone who has used the ME service can answer that part of the question, but I think it might only be for ME guests.

Yes. Because Delta is one of the airlines perticipating in Resort Airline Check-in (along with American, Continental, Song, United, and Ted), you can check your luggage and receive your airline boarding pass at your WDW resort -- and it doesn't matter that you're using a rental car instead of an ME motor coach for transportation to the airport.

According to the Disney Meetings website Disney's Magical Express FAQs:

Q:Do I need to ride the Disney's Magical Express motor coach to the airport in order to participate in the Resort Airline Check-in?

A: No. After utilizing the Resort Airline Check-in service, you can either take advantage of the complimentary motor coach transportation to the airport or arrange your own private transportation. Your checked luggage will be transported to the airport regardless of which transportation option you choose.
