Has anyone ever gotten a free ipod by going thru this site? I think I remember reading somewhere a few months back (may have been on here), that this is a legitimate site. However, before I sign up, I just wanted to make sure.

it is legit but you have to do a bunch of things first. It's easier to spend the money on the ipod.

I don't know but I am trying it. All I did was sign up for the Blockbuster online rental. I love it so far and have watched 6 movies! I am hoping to get the iPod in time for Christmas for my DD.

I just did an offer for my sister to help her "earn" an ipod through this site. I thought it was actually pretty easy to earn one and if I didn't already have one I might do it myself

My sister has 2 friends (real friends not those friends of friends of neighbors of sister kind of friends) who got theirs so she felt confident doing it.

I say go for it if you are willing to do the five offers (or get others to do them for you). One thing you can do for those who help you out is send them an email reminding them of when their "free trial" or whatever expires and offer to pay the fees they may incur (mine fee was a whopping 99 cents so I didn't need reimbursement).

Usually it's something like sign up for 1 free month of netflicks or online Blockbuster then get 6 other people to sign up on that website and have them sign up for a free trial of something (not all options are free)

It is legit. I know two people who have received their iPods.

However, it is not as easy as many make it out to be. You need 5 unique people from 5 unique IP addresses to complete surveys. Not just start. They have to complete them. Freeipods reserves the right to not credit your account for a survey if they even think one of the people is not a unique user and they are not easy to get ahold of to fix the error.

I think with the time and effort that it takes to get one, if your time is more valuable then $13 an hour you're better off buying one.

Legit site? Yes
Worth the hassle? No

It's such a hassle to get peopel to sign up. My family is all skeptics - they don't even do ING. I think the only way to do it would be to create a "chain" and people sign up under people.
