FYI we will be arriving at the BCV as a family group on Nov. 26 -27th. My sister who has 2 children ages dd 2 1/2 and ds 6 is actually going to be using this stroller. However, I just found out they are doing the MVMCP on the 30th, but they should not be very late that night as they have young kids and are not that "into" Disney ! Hopefully this is OK with you ! We can exchange cell phone numbers to meet in person somewhere, leave it with bell services, or even drop it off if you are in your room at that time of the evening - we are a very flexible family

Everything sounds great so far. I hope we get a couple more to fill in before me. I will have to figure out how to get the stroller because we will need it by 8am on the 20th and won't have a car. Sorry but your dates are not going to work. All I have available is 11/3-11/6. If you are interested in those days let me know. You could potentially swap it on Nov 2 and Nov 7 with the people who have it on those days depending on their arrival and departures.

I could use the stroller any time after Jan. 25, but definitely need it from Jan. 30-Feb.7th.

I'll have my own double (the instep double jogger that is so popular in many of the swaps), but my sister can use a second one to push my niece and my oldest daughter, who usually has to walk while her two younger siblings ride.

Yes, I DO want the dates that I'm signed up for! I have found the paypal addy in a post, but am unclear as to the amount to send to the account. The total posted divided between the list of people comes to about 25.24 per person, but my math didn't come out to the same amount the post. I think maybe the number of people has changed?

If you would please let me know the total that needs to be sent I can paypal this over today. I'm sorry, I would PM this over, but I guess I need to post some more before I am allowed to PM.......

Hi, the amount that the "original 8", including yourself is paying is $28.50.
NW9898 did sign up and that is why there are 9 people listed. I had NW9898 only pay the $20 since they signed up after several people had already sent the $28.50 payment. NW9898 will be the first person to start paying the $20 and as I had stated in an earlier. For everyone that pays the $20, I'm going to divide the amount between the "original 8" until our out of pocket cost is $20 as well. Make sense???
WHat I need to know from everyone is each time I get someone new signed up, do you want me to make a paypal credit to each of us for $2.50 or do you want to wait until we get more and do a larger amount at one time? Either way, it doesn't matter to me but to keep confusion down, I will do everyone the same way.

I would say wait, and do a larger amout at once as a one time deal. Seems much easier for you. Just my 2c, no big deal.

I just want to let you all know, this is the stroller we are using in our swap, and it is a GREAT stroller!

VERY easy to push, big basket underneath. Maneuverable and I did not get tired pushing it around even after 5 days of doing it by myself with 2 kids in it.
It is wider than MK gates, but you can give it a turn to one side and kind of push it thru slanted. You need to line right up perfectly to get thru all other gates and it works fine, just make sure all the kiddos have their arms and legs inside the ride at all times upon entering and exiting a park!
It is a little bulky to take on a bus, but well worth it the second you step off that bus!!

Just my 2 cents to let you all know you are investing wisely

Thanks for that info regarding the stroller - I was really curious about the bulkiness of the stroller when I saw 1 group of swappers opted for the Maclaren twin triumph stroller as it was smaller, lighter, and and had some added features (they also had some other concerns), but it is of course more money. I know if you had a couple more Diser's it might work out dollar-wise if that was an option - however I'm OK with whatever you decided to go with!! It's a great idea just to go in this "stroller swap" and we're looking forward to participating in it!

BTW - is there any way to get this thread on the "sticky" stroller swap thread at the top of this board so that we might attract more people to our swap?

I was going to suggest the same thing as the previous poster, I think that all Kalliyan1 needs to do is PM the moderator of the budget board with the info about this thread/swap and they will put the link on the stroller swap sticky. I can't wait to get to Disney, I think I spend more time on this website than any others right now and we don't go til January!!

Yes, if this could be added to the list of the other stroller swaps that would be great! I know I checked the other list first and almost didn't check this thread because I thought it would have been in the list with the others that I had already checked out. I'm sure there are others that may have just overlooked this thread because it's not listed with the others.......
