Hi!

Just a question - if the person before you leaves wdw before you arrive how do you inform them of all the information needed to pick up the stroller (claim ticket, etc..)

Yes, if this could be added to the list of the other stroller swaps that would be great! I know I checked the other list first and almost didn't check this thread because I thought it would have been in the list with the others that I had already checked out. I'm sure there are others that may have just overlooked this thread because it's not listed with the others.......

No, not yet....I just checked and we are not on the sticky yet either. I did contact someone over the weekend who was looking for a stroller but the dates they wanted were already taken. If the person who has those dates backs out or doesn't pay, I will give them to the person I contacted. Currently everyone has paid except one so I will go ahead an order the stroller today and at this point, just make up the difference myself.

Yes the dates are still available and the swap costs $20. Basically what you would do is contact the person before you and after you and work out the details on either end.
The person before you is staying off property and they have a car. They will be bringing the stroller back to the disney property so depending on where your staying, I assume it wouldn't be an issue to get it to your resort. Again, you guys would have to work out the details. The person after you is staying at POP.
Let me know if your interested so I can save the dates for you. Also, if you decide to do it, let me know where your staying. I'm taking payment to my paypal account. The paypal email is kalliyan2@yahoo.com

Trying to figure out how to do the hand off when we are at different locations. Any thoughts from anyone that has done one in the past?

The person in front of me is at POR and the one behind me is at BCV. We are at POP. I think we are all using Disney transportation. Suggestions?

It seems as though(on other swaps) everyone is able to work out some kind of arrangement suitable to everyone. Let me know if there are problems working out details and I will see what I can do.

I've been doing the same by posting updates related to availability etc. I don't understand why the sticky person isn't responding???? When I look at the sticky though, the last update was in July if I'm reading it correctly. Thanks everyone for your bumping efforts.

There are quite a few people who use the disney transportation only. It has it's pros and cons but so does having your own vehicle. We have done it both ways and have had no complaints using just the disney transportation.

Guest services, to my knowledge, will not transport just the stroller to another resort. You have to make arrangements with the other person your swapping with and either leave it at your resort or transport it to theirs, you two have to figure that out. Whatever you do, make sure you get a CLAIM TICKET if you leave it at the luggage office. You will have to put the next persons name, arrival date, and resv. number on the stroller.
