free water at the parks?

But if you go up ahead of those ordering, not waiting, aren't you making the people who have ordered wait longer while you get someone's attention for water? Even if it's '30 seconds' that could add up, and makes getting food even longer. Why would someone think it would be OK to do that? Make others wait longer because they want a free cup of water and won't wait like everyone else?

When I said 30 seconds, I meant from the time you walk in the restaurant until you walk out. You walk up to the counter, ask the CM (who is already there) for water and they hand it to you.

Standing in line actually holds the other people up longer.

The water tasted good everywhere but at MK to me. I don't know why but the ice water from Pinocchio Village Haus tasted funky (as some people have described). All the other parks were fine. So if that bothers you, you might want to bring flavor packets. We did bring bottled water too, but it was nice to grab an extra cold ice water on a hot day.

But it holds up the people who have come after you in line, not the people who have come before you. I've seen people come up the exit in a CS and ask for water - it clogs up the line, it stops the people serving food from serving people already waiting after placing an order, etc. I think it's just rude not to wait like everyone else.

Even if that's what you're told to do by a CM? Obviously they feel it is more efficient (at least on their end) to have people go directly to the counter and not waste the time of their cashiers. There's no reason to go through the cashier most of the time--most of the time they tell you to go to the counter. What's the point of that?
