Does anyone know if I can get a glass of water for free at the bars on the Wish or Castaway Cay?
Any drinking container. A man in front of me at the beach bar asked and was directed to the drink machines at cookies. I don’t think they have water dispensers at the beach bars.Glass as in the material or glass referring to any drinking container?
On the ship, sure, they have the ship’s drinking water but I don’t think the beach bar on castaway does. I think it simply doesn’t have the plumbing. For example, if you order diet coke on the island beach bars it is in a can instead of from a dispenser. At cookies, they have the plumbing for it so you can get it there.Often times if we are sitting at the bar at night, and I'm not ready for a drink yet, DH will order a beer and the bartender just hands me a glass of ice water. While I don't have any official word on this I would think if you were at the bar and asked for just water they wouldn't mind. Its just regular ship water.
You can certainly use your own cup (wdw or any type of refillable cup), just make sure you are filling one of the paper cups first and then dumping it into your personal refillable cup. There are little signs by the drink machines asking you to use their cups for sanitary reasons, but it's fine to then pour it into your own cup off to the side of the machines. Is it a no no to use your wdw resort mug on the ship for soda and water?
No, because the soda is free anyway, but like MomofTwins says, please use a cup to fill it.Is it a no no to use your wdw resort mug on the ship for soda and water?
which is followed by about ,0000000001 percent of the people filling mugs or water bottles.but like MomofTwins says, please use a cup to fill it.
Sorry, I thought you were asking about on board too.Any drinking container. A man in front of me at the beach bar asked and was directed to the drink machines at cookies. I don’t think they have water dispensers at the beach bars.

and throughout the biking trails.Sorry, I thought you were asking about on board too.
I cant say for sure on the island but I would think the bars have to have some water for washing/rinsing. Im not sure if its drinkable though.Besides the drink stations though, they have sort of a big cooler of water with paper cups. If I remember right I've seen it near the Pelican Plunge area.
On the Fantasy in July, a CM working on cleaning up the drink station told us NOT to do that because it wastes cups so...here we are. I mean, ultimately, if no part of my water bottle touches the spigot, I don't really think it's an issue. They have those water bottle filling stations without a cup in sight.please use a cup to fill it
The drink stations have signs asking to "use a fresh cup for refills." It doesn't say their fresh cup, but I don't think I'll use any cup that I just drank out of. Are the water filling stations touchless, as in the edge of the bottle doesn't touch anything for filling? That's a bit different than the soda stations with plastic arms that must be pushed to activate the flow.On the Fantasy in July, a CM working on cleaning up the drink station told us NOT to do that because it wastes cups so...here we are.
