Free Valet Parking when not staying dvc

Long story short, I had reservations for WL prior to closing on my WLV. I have since recieved my membership card. I will be travelling with my mother and 2 yo son. My mother is just a short time out from finishing her cancer treatments so I would like to use the valet when possible but call me cheap don't want to shell out the 100 bucks for valet if I don't have to

Will my membership card let me valet park free even though I'm not staying on points?

Valet at a DVC resort is free (but should tip) to any DVC member regardless of whether the member is staying at the resort or has a points or cash reservation. Must show card and tell them when you arrive at valet.

I would ask your mom's doctor for a temporary disability car tag. This will allow you to park closer at the parks and give you free valet at any WDW resort that has valet, even non-DVC resorts (in case you go for dinner somewhere). Have a great trip!
P.S. Be sure to keep a supply of dollar bills for tips. We always seem to go through LOTS of them for valet parking!
