Yes I have two that I keep and never let them keep if the money is gone on it.

I just returned from Starbucks and got an Orange-Mango Smoothie with Soy Milk. I thought my niece could have it but then noticed that the protein powder that they add contains milk.

Why would you have to pay if it's free ???

By Starbucks card do you mean a gift/cash card ???

You don't have to pay. You just need a Starbucks Gift Card that you registered online.

The stores by me now have the feature on their cash registers to check if it's a registered card. Last time there was a free drink they took my word as they couldn't ring it through the till.
