Free Simpson's Shirts Promotion

I got an email a while back from US detailing 2 free Simpsons shirts during extra value weeks.

Now, I booked my room (April 20-25) through the hotel and got the AAA rate. I called the hotel and asked about the shirts and they said I had to book the Extra Value Weeks package which was much more. Any chance I will be able to get those vouchers for the free shirts?

it stated that I would get the $150.00 coupon book and 2 limted edition
simpsons shirts, this was after I called to get a extra night added.
I would call again , would'nt hurt.

Wow! Until this thread, I did not even notice on our reservation that we are booked with the extra value week and get two free T-Shirts the end of May! Thanks!

I was under the impression that it was one certain discount that gave you the two free shirts. If you go into the website and call up certain dates, the deal with the shirts comes up along with supersaver and seasonal. It doesn't appear that it is an automatic gift with every stay between those dates.

I have the APH rate and I just checked my confirmation again and it states we get a $150 coupon book and two free Simpson's T-Shirts. Must be an error but I'm not complaining!

So does everyone who stays at a Universal Hotel get a free simpsons shirt staying there in May?
Do you know if the ride will be open by May 10th?

I don't believe everyone staying during that time frame gets a t-shirt. When I was booking my stay some of the rates stated it included the $150 discount booklet and the two t-shirts, most rates did not state that. It was part of the Extra Value Weeks promotion. So, to answer your question, it depends upon whether you booked under that promotion or another.

I was able to use a Florida Resident rate with the shirts/savings book promotion. I have a question though, does anyone know what kind of savings are in the book?

Yesterday, I was looking at the Annual Passholder website and followed the room discount link and noticed that there was a considerably lower AP rate that included the free t-shirts and $150 coupon book during our stay. I called Universal directly and had them modify my rate from supersaver to the AP Extra Value week rate. I lose my Loewsfirst benefits for this trip, but that's small trade-off. My rate dropped an average of $50 per night, for the 4 nights.
