Is this still there? I would love to do this. If you have been to Disney recently and have seen or done this please respond. Thanks.

Yes, we built 4 robots last week. Even more fun, was that some CMs were making a training video as we were there, and they initiated a game of Robot Bowling. The kids and I got to wear big Mickey gloves, they lined up 10 robots like bowling pins, and we got to bowl. We got cute little Disney Magical Moments cards with our names on them when we were done.

Check out the machines forming the plastic robot pieces at the end of the room.

My kids loved this and i'm glad to hear it's still open! Here's the robots they made last December

I have never been to disney but I will try to answer from other threads. It is located in Innovations at Fantastic Plastics. You just stand in line about 20 minutes and then you get to build a robot that races the other robots. After that you get to go and make a robot to take home.

I also forgot to tell you. Your kids can make cookies at sunshine something??? the place you eat. It is in the corner. It is also free.
Also a candy lady in Japan.
You can get mask at epcot and the kids can put stickers on them.

Can you tell I only have 9 more days!!! I do not know how we will find the time to do all of this but it all sounds like fun.

It takes about 20 minutes to build and race the robot. You do not get to take that one home. Then you go and build another robot to take home. I think that takes as long as you like. You can not skip the raceing of the robots either. I can't imagine anyone would want to though.

We were allowed to skip the racing part in May & also 2 weeks ago, & just go ahead & make our robots.

I saw on another thread that they would not allow people to skip the racing part. That is why I put this on. If we had ADR's and it took 40 minutes to do just the first part; I would be mad I missed the robot to take home part. It is good to know the other thread was wrong for those that just do not have the time to do both.

Innoventions was a GREAT spot for us on our last visit. Our DS (5 at the time) made paper out of pulp and dried it himself, then colored it. He loved it! We made robots on a computer and raced them by running and jumping on a special control pad. SO MUCH FUN! We made robots out of recycled plastic, and you can keep them, for FREE!! We must have spent a good 3 hours in that building, and he had a blast!!!!

Have Fun!
