I've never had an annual pass before and I'm wondering if I have to be in the car that's parking to get the free parking. We're traveling with my dad, his girlfriend and another family to WDW in May. My DH and I will have AP's. Do we need to ride in separate cars so we can park both cars for free? We can do that or can I just give my dad my AP to get into the parking lot? (we'll probably be driving right behind him)

well, it has a name on it. if it has a woman's name and no woman in the car, it might be an issue, but i've been a passenger in the car and just handed my AP to the driver and its never been an issue.

I've never been asked for ID, so I'd say you'd be fine, but just know that there's still a chance if you get a parking guide who's in a bad mood.

They don't check names and they don't check expiration dates. They just see the AP and wave you through.
