I've seen a few posts here about how to aquire some free money to spend at Disney. So here's my hint. I am a car enthusiast. If you go to all of the auto manufacturer websites, you can request info and brochures. Request the newest, introductory models. Also, there are tear out postage paid cards in car magazines (take 'em right out of the magazines at the 7-11, White Hen, etc) for info on the newest models. The car companies feel that if you take the time to request info, you are there best possible future customer. Then they will send you "test drive" offers. I have received offers to test drive Jeeps, Mustangs, PT Cruisers, Lincolns, BMW's, you name it. When you go to the dealer with your letter, the dealer validates it. I have NEVER had to actually drive the car. I just say, "I'm not really interested in the car and I hate to waste your time putting plates on it and driving it since I'm just here to get the money." They say okay and all you have to do is mail in your validated letter.
I have received checks for $50 cash!
I have received Sharper Image $50 gift certificates which were redeemable for cash!
I have received a PT Cruiser credit card sized knife with the PT logo which I then sold on Ebay for $55!
I have received and Olds Aurora X-Files leather/twill jacket which I then sold for $125!
I have received numerous $25 checks!
I have received around $750 total in the last few years.
Free money, it's great.
Try to target the new models though, that's where the auto companies spend their advertising dollars (example, don't request the Mazda Miata, request the brand new Mazda 6 sedan).
I hope this helps!
