Free make-up!

;)the jcp at the mall i went to did not have one either, but the mall has a stand alone sephora store

OP - Thank you sooo much for posting this!!

I got my sample the other day & have gotten soo many compliments since :thumbsup2 I think I'm going to buy the full size foundation now. Does anyone know where I can find the best deal...I know I've seen it on QVC. Can anyone reccommend any of their other products??

Thanks alot I too was able to order 3 but the shade that I thought would match me most was out of stock. But for 4 bucks beggers can't be choosers.:thumbsup2

got my samples today and I seriously doubt that is a 10 day supply more like one application!:rolleyes1

I have always wanted to try it glad I ordered the 3 if I had only ordered 1 I would be seriously upset about the size.

thank you op for the post am glad I am finally getting to try this out even if their ad was totally deceptive.

Thats what I thought too, but I have used it 4 times and still have some left in there. You need very littel surprisingly. You have to tap the brush each time and buff away and it has alot of coverage. I was a doubter too, but once I used it, I was shocked that so little went so far. I don't know if I'll actually buy the stuff though.

I have used this stuff for a few years and I love it! I wouldnt worry about them being small....a little bit goes a long way.It does not take much of the base powder to get a good look, and the brushes alone are worth the shipping....those darn brushes are very pricey!

hum.. very small IMO. I would of gotten 3 of I would of known how small it was going to be or actually gotten it at the mall and not paid for shipping.. oh well.. you live and learn

I have heard several talk about how great the brushes are, but I find them so small and hard to hold on to. Anyone else have this problem. If you buy the bigger amount is the brush bigger?

Agreed! I did get two tones because I wasn't sure if Fairly Light or Light is best for me, so I'm glad I didn't spend the money on a full size just to find out it didn't match!

I've been using Bare Escentuals for some time now and I learned quickly that a little goes a long way. The first time I put it on, I thought I wasn't getting good coverage and used WAY yoo much. I ended up looking like a clown. LOL

These brushes, on the other hand, are not normal sized brushes. I'm sure they were made this small so they can be used in the lids of the little jars. the standard brush is much easier to use.

I received my free samples and love it! After only ONE use, I could tell my pores were smaller. My skin looks better too. I will probably buy the full size once my sample runs out (that was their point of giving out free samples - to get people hooked:) How's is the rest of their make-up? Any deals out there?

I received my free sample yesterday :thumbsup2 I really liked the way it went on and how it looked so I printed out the in store coupon.
I took it to the mall and went to JC Penneys, asked at customer service if they had a Sephora counter, the woman says "no", but tells me I can take it to the Sephora store that is in the same mall and redeem it there.
I told her that I was under the impression that it could only be redeemed at a JC Penney store (if a Sephora counter existed there).
Anyway, the woman at the customer service desk says that JC Penney owns Sephora and it would be "no problem".

So I go to the Sephora store and tell them what I was just told. The sales woman (at Sephora) practically laughed at me!! :rotfl2: She seemed incredulous that I was told that Sephora is owned by JC Penney :scared1:
She kept asking me, "who told you that?", and I kept telling her that the customer service woman at JC Penney's told me. She (the Sephora saleswoman) started telling other salespeople "do you know that this woman (me) was told that JC Penney owns Sephora??

I felt kind of foolish but it all worked out in the end.
I had to join the Sephora "club", just gave my name, birth month and day (to get a free sample on my BD :wizard:) and my e mail addy, then I was given the free sample.

Pretty easy after all was said and done, but I'm now wondering....does JC Penney own Sephora or not :confused3

Just wondering who was right??

Thanks,

Karen :):)

Hi Karen
I took that coupon to a JCP store at a mall, and JCP told me that since there is a Sephora store in the mall, that JCP can't sell that BE make-up. The lady at JCP told me to take the coupon over to Sephora and they should honor it. I took it over to the Sephora store and they gladly honored it. I wasn't given a hard time at all. Not sure why the Sephora employees by you gave you a hard time.

From the Sephora website:

Sephora USA and Sephora.com, both wholly owned by Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton (LVMH), the world's leading luxury products company, select qualified candidates who are dedicated, innovative, show initiative, work well as team members, and are passionate about servicing the needs of our customers.

Yea... JCpenney... Louis Vuitton.... they're practically the same thing... :lmao:

They really didn't give me a hard time redeeming the coupon, although said I had to join the Sephora "club" (forget what the name of it was) in order to get the free sample. But actually glad I did, because of the benefits. I do think I will start using Sephora now, I do like the products.
They ,well really just one salesperson, kind of made me feel foolish, and almost like I was making it up (lying) that I was told that JC Penney owned Sephora.
I see from the next post, that JC Penney does not own Sephora, but heck, I didn't know that at the time and I did feel foolish when the saleslady made such a big deal about what I said :lmao:.

Thanks Tina, now I think I like Sephora even more. You're right.....JC Penney....Louis Vuitton.....Hmmmmmmm, whose make up would I like to be using ???

I wonder why the JC Penney saleswoman told me that???
Kind of strange

Oh well, no real big deal...and now I learned something new.

Karen :)

I got my order on the 2nd. I have used the one everyday since (and twice on Monday cause we went swimming). I still have another use or two out of it....so I'd say 10 days supply seems about right :thumbsup2
