free internet continuous for our whole stay?

We just arrived this morning and plugged in to the free internet service at BCV. My husband thought he saw it mentioned that we're only allowed 24 hours of free service. I thought it was continous for our entire stay.

Anyone have an answer?

If you are staying on points, you get free internet for your stay. You may have to re-up each 24-hour period, though. The system requires that you log in just like you are paying, but the desk credits the charge. Sometimes they forget/miss so be sure to check your bill.

Most hotels do it on their check in cycle so it's not necessarily 24 hours from when you sign in. You just have to sign in again and accept the agreement whenever they cut it off.

I've used it at BWV and AKL, it goes by when you first sign-on. So if you sign-on at 8:30pm, you'll get the sign-on the next day at 8:30pm (or the next time you are on).

It may still show up on your bill when you check out. Just take your blue member card with you to the front desk, show your card and they should remove the charges.

Just went through it at the Yacht club. They put the fee on the bill but they removed it at check out. I called in and had it removed. No problems. DVC point registrations get free internet.

I thought it was only at DVC resorts and not at non-DVC resorts.

I used my points to stay at the YC. So, they took off the internet.

We just used it at SSR and never had to re-sign on....we were prepared to but the signal stayed constant. The charges were never put on our bill, either. Maybe it makes a difference that we created a network with a wireless router...
