I'm finding most options for around $125 dollars plus shipping, so around $150 total. I want to get it from a store that has a local branch in case there are any problems with having it delivered. We are also checking to see if Marge from WeGoShop (Grocery Delivery service) could deliver it. Her fees seem pretty reasonable but we're not sure whether the fridge would be an option.

I am glad we have this thing going.Sorry if we lost ya for a minute. I had to update my own thread since I can't edit the one you started. I have PM's going out tonight. I too saw that SWAP that does the refund thing, I think we should consider that, hopefully all will go well and we don't lose the fridge or anything! Some of the swaps on here have been going on quite a while, so if everyone does there part, we should be good.
Since there doesn't seem to be much of any demand for a fridge swap in July, I'm thinking of dropping out of the swap. It really looks like it would be better if you all wait until August to start. I would hate to have it thrown out at POP. Dh doesn't seem so into the idea of having to base our first day around getting it set up anymore, especially since we didn't even plan to eat in the room. I know my dates are in demand, so I'm sure someone else could step up and take our place if you do decide to keep a June start date.

No problem. THanks for keeping us all posted! I know how husband's can have completely different ideas about things. You're right, we have others interested in those date, but we do need some takers for July. Lots of time though for that hopefully!
well, i am not wishing anyone out of doing this in July, but I just found out a co-worker is going down the exact same time as me, driving down with their trailer to stay at the ft. campground...she offered to bring anything i needed down, or bring anything back up again (sorry...to nj)...
So if I remain the first one, I can do a local pickup on the fridge and have her drive it down for us...saves on shipping and ensures it will be there. Just throwing that out there...

Yes, I saw that people were still posting there, so I figured it would be easier just to direct everyone here.
Thats actually good news. I really think its important to have that option in case anything goes wrong. However, I think we have pleny of time to fill the July slots and though I know the FD is making AUg/Sept seem busy, they're the value season for a reason, I think July is a much busier time.

We anticipate buying a 4.3 cubic feet GE fridge from Walmart for $125.00 and Marge from Wegoshop will deliver it to resort for us bringing the cost to about $150.
