Free Disney Movies!

I just went to www.disneymovieclub.com and signed up to receive 3 free dvds. This is similar to other movie clubs. All you have to do is buy 5 more movies from them in the next 24 months (price range of $14.95-$19.95). That's not hard because we always buy the newest Disney movies. The selection has almost 200 movies to choose from! So I got Lion King, Lion King 2 & The Nightmare Before Christmas (all Special Editions) for free plus shipping & handling. If you pay with a credit card shipping is only $1. If not it's $5.95. Still a great deal for 3 Disney dvds! I just wanted to let all of you Disney lovers know about this deal.

Isn't this deal also available through some Rewards sites? Is it My Points that offers this as a sign-up bonus??

We joined the Disney Movie Club several months ago and it has turned out to be a pretty good deal. They often have Buy 2 get 1 free, or Buy 1 get 40% additional DVDs, etc..

They also have other special 'treats' you can get for free when purchasing your featured selection. We have received several very cool 3-D DVD inserts (the cover on the DVD case, but with 3-D effects), a few different stuffed animals, a really nice Disney backpack, a lion king christmas ornament, and probably some other stuff but that's all I can think of at the moment.

Once you buy the required number of movies, you become a VIP member and get additional coupons for free shipping, special merchandise, money off, etc...

One of the things we really like is the selection, we have purchased a lot of older disney movies, like The Cat from Outer Space, The Apple Dumpling Gang movies, the ones that are harder to find at Costco, etc...

It's not as cheap as buying them at Costo or Walmart, but if you buy them when there is some kind of a discount or deal it comes out pretty close.

I justed joined so I could get some Xmas shopping done. I got my nephew The Lion King and Lilo & Stitch, my DD The Haunted Mansion and my DS The Three Musketeers. It ended up being $20.90 for 4 movies. I just want to add that you need to buy the next movies over 12 months, not 24. At least that is how it is right now. And the shipping was $5.95 with a credit card, unless I was supposed to use a code somewhere. Still consider it a great deal since I would have spent this much for one movie. Thanks for the post!

Shipping charges are $3.95 for the 1st movie in your order and $1 for each additional movie. If you buy 3 movies, shipping is $5.95, 4 movies $6.95, etc...

I have been a member for a few years now and love it. I got a free backpack for joining and get offers in the mail randomly. I have two VIP pins that you can only get thru the club. Kind of neat. If you buy the movies anyways, why not do it this way. They also have grown-up movies like While You Were Sleeping and Pirates of Tge Carribean along with sing-a-long songs.

I did a quick search and found these 3 sites offer rewards for joining Disney Movie club through them:

1) Milesource ~ gives 1,250 extra miles if you join through them

2) ebates ~ gives $5.00 for joining

3) clickrewards ~ don't know anything about them.


Anyone used one of these? I've used Milesource before, but took too long to earn enough point for anything.

I have used ebates for years and have been very happy with them. PCHpoints and Luckypoints also give you points for joining the movie club (3000 points).

Today, I did ~ after I saw that now Quick Rewards has added them to their list.
