Free Dining thru June

Just received an email regarding free dining in March & then again May-June. It stated that QS dining is for the value & moderate resorts and the DDP is for the deluxe resorts. Is this new? I thought the regular dp was offered to the moderates. It kinda sucks if this is the new format b/c we have a moderate booked for Sept & hoping that free dining is offered but we really didn't want qs.

Oops, I scrolled down further & there was a pin code to use but it came w/the Disney Destinations update. I just thought that would be opened to the public.

You can upgrade QS to DDP by paying the difference. It's about $16.50/adult and $3/child to upgrade per day.

No, PIN codes are not transferable.

For those going in September, a general public offer for 8/25-9/29 is supposedly going to open on Monday. It's currently available for Disney Visa cardholders only.

Everyone i know received a pin code except for me who is the only one in my gang planning to visit WDW is May!!!!! I made a quote with the free dining pin code my friend received and for me, it turns out that its not a super deal, its just ok. Staying at a value resort at rack rate and upgrading to the regular dining plan would cost us $600 more for the 2 of us for 9 nights vs my current ressie with the room discount. I was so obssessd about receiving that pin code and now i'm sort of ok if i dont receive it!!!! But if i do receive it, i guess i might still take it since we would choose more expensive restaurants and thats always fun but no big deal!!!!!!

I got the free dining pin code but when I called I asked about if i upgraded my resort and I could have sworn they told me i would get the regular dining for free then. Now I might have misunderstood and I think I am going to call back and clarify with someone. But I guess since I had already decided that I was staying at POP I don't remember exactly how the cm worded it to me. I got free quick service but I upgraded to regular dining which the difference was $300 for our group. 5 nights/4 people. But it just dawned on me, if I was willing to pay $300 more to get the regular dining and if I could get regular dining for free with a moderate the difference might be the same and stay at a "better" resort. I am still paying on the trip so I could make some changes. I think I am going to call tomorrow and make sure I am making the right decision with pop.
